me too, also only a few from 1 Oct, approx 5/6 short.

Perhaps they have cut the flow of points from sometime on 1Oct. Maybe the early in the day transactions have posted and the later in the day not. The plot does thicken, and certainly something seems to be afoot! Perhaps something to do with the IT changes that will have been worked on in the last week or so

I was anticiapting some form of reversal as I was enrolled in all 3 promotions and was sent points for at least two.

I had also rung them prior to the points posting to ensure that my valid one was as per my postcard. They confirmed I was in all 3 and that my valid one was the 5K for 5 one. They said that they would fix that up. so I was surprsied when the points posted, but figured that they would take them back eventually.

So it might be that they are just catching up with a software fix to have people in only one bonus program?????

These are just regular $1-1point MR points from 3 different vendors, 2 of which I have never purchased from before.

Has all the hallmarks of a software fix happening, which can mean reversing some things out, then reapplying then. Perhaps they turned the point tap off as they would have known this was going to happen.

(Not that any mysterious goings on have happened on my account, apart from the points not appearing. No reversals, no mystery engaged things.)

I have Patinum as as posted by others i am now getting 2pts/$ vs 1.5pts/$. Hope this doesnt stop 10000pts / unlimited pts offer.

Platinum card but currently only getting 1 point not the 1.5 points not sure what is happening there will leave it and see what happens.

They did not...

However I would be amazed if Amex does not restrict everyone to only one program.

Whether they can legally do this or not is a seperate question.

But I have little doubt that when points eventually post in 8-10 weeks time that everyone will have been assigned to only one program...even if you enrolled in more than one program.

More so if you were racking up say 500,000 points...They will not willingly hand over 1.5 million points....and you will have to fight to get points from all 3.

Thinking that Amex will leave you in all three programs I think is very wishful thinking.

That people were in all three programs would be I am sure one of the main reasons that Amex stopped awarding bonus points.

I would also be surprised if Amex did not try and move registrants to the program that they were targetted for, even if they only registered for one program.

Hi Guys,

Can someone give me a summary to date - are any of the promos still open to new sign up's? I've been out of the loop for a few weeks. If so Which code or do you have to ring?

I don't have time to read 186 pages of posts.

Spewing if I've missed this as I have 4 Amex cards!!

Sounds like chaos!!!!

Some who should get 1.5 are getting 2...some only 1 !!!! Both with no comminication of why and withno reason.

As others have noted it looks like some software fixes are being put in place and odd things are happening.

You are too late to get more than a 10 K cap per month.

If you were not sent a postcard you are too late for anything as you have a postcard with your name on it to sign up now. No exceptions. They also are checking a list to make sure your claim is valid.

I think that the wording POC Low Engaged etc means that they have engaged you into a particular points bonus program....and if you were in more than one it has also adjusted your points to take back bonuses from more than one bonus program..

I may be wrong...but I suspect that the good news is for those that have this message is that they are confirmed as being in one of the three bonus awards.

Then again I may be wildly wrong!!!!

Weird.

My ff account today says "3 Oct ... 25% membership bonus points x,000", and adds 25% of the 5k/5t bonuses that hit my ff account yesterday. But there's no bonus on anything I transferred from amex to the ff account in September.
Maybe the i.t programmers are sending your points to me. Thank you and keep em coming.

Incidentally I can't see any poc on my amex account. Is it attached to some tab/link, or in plain sight on the accout summary
