One thing you haven't looked at: Does amex know what TIME you did stuff? It surely doesn't have a time in your statement. So does amex see it all as just 'on the day' or what time too? Cuz my MR stuff does get sorted randomly each time I login, suggesting it's not time based.

My ff account today says "3 Oct ... 25% membership bonus points x,000", and adds 25% of the 5k/5t bonuses that hit my ff account yesterday. But there's no bonus on anything I transferred from amex to the ff account in September.
Maybe the i.t programmers are sending your points to me. Thank you and keep em coming.

Incidentally I can't see any poc on my amex account. Is it attached to some tab/link, or in plain sight on the accout summary

when one thinks about the number of (eligible for this promotion) Amex cardholders in Australia, I'd be intrigued to know what percentage were selected (and then what percentage actally signed up ) .

I'm glad this promo came around for another reason - I've been meaning to transfer my points to AA for ages but hadn't got around to doing it, so this proved to be my filip - I was able to transfer 270K points through SPG to AA. They are just starting to hit my AAccount and this will certainly help my Lifetime bAAlance.

I'm sure that everybody is also starting to receive the email from Qantas FF headed: Important changes for transferring card points to Qantas Frequent Flyer. I can see all my points heading for AA (as well as my flights, a decision I made about a month ago)

BTW, no transactions posted to my MR account, but considering I have only done 1 (by phone last night), then that's highly likely. no change to the normal 50% bonus

However, tonight should mean a couple on the way home for the essentials

i did receive a card. but not sure where stand....

called MR they are retro fitting people to the card they received if they got one.. if they didnt get a card it doesnt matter, they just get the first promo they registered for and retain the promo they got regardless of pre or post the 20th (that dates only confirms the capping)

if you registered for all 3 your first one is the one that will apply (if you didnt receive a card) if you did receive a card you will ONLY get the points you were targeted for.. so for me thats the 10k points per 20 trans... and because i was pre 20th its unlimited.

Thats all folks.. NOT happy that people who werent targeted get a better deal than i do.. :/ thats how the cookie crumbles!

Did not receive postcard, did over 40 transactions in second half of Sept since promo began, registered for all 3...... so even if they put me on the 10K for 20 transactions (the first one I registered for), I should have 20K for Sept.

I signed up 18 Sept, no card. I had a total of 55,000 previously.
I also signed up to another reward on 19th, however rang 10 mins later and deleted it and confirmed I was left on 5/5000.

Will ring them tomorrow if it doesn't reset overnight.

It may also be a pertinent time (if not already done) to use the "Print" button in Membership Rewards transactions screen.

It expands all transactions (showing bonuses posting etc) and goes back many pages - which should cover most if not all of this transaction for many users.
