Can anybody confirm an instance of points being posted for a used or partly used voucher...?

By the looks of it only the unused ones are posting

It seems my theory might have some substance reading some replies in here recently

It would appear points have been posted for late purchases, I would be patient before any conclusions are drawn re issues with actually using them.
It would be wise not to make any conclusions. ;)

I purchased vouchers on 5 different days on 16/12, 18/12, 21/12, 23/12 and 25/12 and all posted in one transaction.

I suspect the used vouchers will require some manual intervention.

Bought 2x vouchers one each on 22-Dec and 24-Dec.
Reedeemed one in full on 18-Jan.
Full points for both vouchers credited 23-Jan.

Thanks for posting, by the sounds of it your instance is rare, however just adds to the confusion why some have posted while some have not...!

Yeah, none of my circumstances are aligning to any of the suggestions here:
2 vouchers 10-Dec; 20% points; both partially used
2 vouchers 25-Dec; 20% points; both partially used
6 vouchers 27-Dec; 60% points; none redeemed

Received 70% points on 23-Jan, so none of that still seems to align with purchased early vs. purchased late vs. used vs. unused vs. number of weeks from purchase date etc.

I'm hoping Red Roo will make a comment on what the status might be and whether things will happen automatically (with estimated timeframe) before wanting to call up and go through the hassle of chasing the remaining points.

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

17/12 gift voucher purchases bonus points posted 24/01. Expecting another 10,000 in a week or so...

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I bought 4 on the 24th (2 x $500 and 2 x $250), and received the points for all of them on the 23rd. All vouchers currently unused :D.

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

Zip for early used and late unused vouchers

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

Qantas Frequent Flyer points may take up to 8 weeks to be credited to your account.

From Friday, 27 December 2013
Added 8 weeks
Normalized to 56 days

Result: Friday, 21 February 2014

From and including: Wednesday, 29 January 2014
To and including: Friday, 21 February 2014

Result: 24 days

It is 24 days from the start date to the end date, end date included

Only 24 days to go I guess ;)

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

Purchased 2 x $500 vouchers on the 24th and 27th. Both vouchers remained unused. The bonus points for both vouchers were posted earlier in the week in one transaction.

My experience for the vouchers purchased in the year before was that the bonus points for partly used vouchers would come in at a later date (late Feb 2013) automatically.

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

Is it worth a call to Qantas..or wait the 8 weeks.....very strange that some posted and some did not.
Wht do you thnk RED ROO????

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I called on Thursday re the used voucher and the lady agreed it was a known issue and she would follow it up for me.

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I have called Qantas and they are chasing for me, that was the 28th Jan? Have to say this is the worst QF have performed in the 15 odd years of flying with them

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I still need to chase up the voucher of the excess, that hasn't appeared in my account either. I think I've got a list of things to call about now...

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I called premium desk re my last voucher points, said few days, yet nothing, this really is ridiculous.

Re: Earn bonus points on Gift Vouchers - new and improved for Xmas.

I rang today to chase up my points. Was advised that it is a known problem, my details were taken and are to be emailed to the 'back office' for follow up. Was also told that they were unable to give a time frame for resolution.
Spooky experience, it was just like talking to Amex .... perhaps QF have outsourced their call centre to Amex :p
