I have emailed a request for mine...but just redeemed first voucher and first thing I noticed was that no QFF number appeared. It seems like it was left off, although I don't know how as I was logged on and email and phone numbers all correct. Anyone else who is waiting noticed that the QFF number was omitted from any of your vouchers??

You do not get to enter any FF numbers when purchasing the vouchers.

They can only be added later using the voucher reference.

Emailing is a waste of time, I sent 2, 1st call back said few days to process, 2nd said possibly soon.
(I wanted mine for an QFF award booking on EK)

As serfty mentioned you have to enter you QFF number when redeeming the voucher for the people travelling on the voucher. When purchasing the QFF number entered is to identify the person purchasing the voucher, not necessarily the traveller. This is a good point, if the purchasers QFF number wasn't included at purchase then it will be hard for them to hand out points.

But arent the points are to be allocated on the purchase not the travel?

By the way, the form did (and does) ask for the purchaser frequent flyer number, not the recipient.

The purchaser gets the points on the voucher, recipient on any flights taken.

Still waiting for points to credit from vouchers purchased in early December (they were both used not long after). It's past the allotted 8weeks. Been told that it is a "known" issue but no one knows how long it will take to correct. Oh well.

I am similar to all of you. Purchased voucher on Dec 6, used it shortly after. No points as yet. I rang today and was told the department who's fault it is knows about it but hasn't notified FF when the points will be issued. Annoying!

Has happened to me a few times.

I used one voucher and the residual voucher came through with the QFF details.

I then used another voucher and the residual voucher did not come through with the QFF details.

Still waiting here...

+ 1.

seems to be a uniform issue with using the voucher before points being issued it seems.

I'm generally quite patient ( Qantas activity bookings take a full 3 months to post normally ) but this seems to be affecting quite a few of us it appears.

Umm, yeah exactly. That is what I said. If the purchaser doesn't enter their QFF number dishing out points for the purchase would be difficult.

In addition entering the purchaser QFF number is not the same as entering the travellers QFF number. In fact, it is not possible to enter the travellers number when buying the voucher. The traveller also earns for the travel.

Yes thanks Serfty and Medhead...FF number was issued at time of purchase, being it was for travel for Mrs rc, I assumed wrongly her FF number would come up. Mrs rc received a phone call the other day from an apparent junior call centre operator. He tried to suggest that the vouchers were purchased outside the time period..(they weren't) and then said he would have to ty and find out what is going on. It is apparent that they are receiving a lot of emails about this, but are handing them out amongst call centre staff at random. Surely on the one topic it would be prudent to have one group of people working on the known problem. I also think it is time for an update from Red Roo????

Still waiting here also. Two emails to [email protected] with no response...

I sent an email through the week. Received an auto reply. Next day I received a phone call, that I missed, but the lovely assistant from QFF left a message advising that she could see the problem I outlined and that it would be passed on to be rectified and that I should see the credit adjustment soon.

I'm happy with that.

Nope. Not too concerned, will wait to end of the month and give premium desk a call

I would resend, you should get confirmation that they have received your email, and also add the address to your address book re auto spam filters.
