but can only use one voucher per booking. I had to do 2 bookings and then ring and get them to put the two together. I also got caught out by only placing the voucher in one name (Mrs RC) and could not add myselfand do a joint booking......I find their vouchers a little too restrictive:)

You need to buy a voucher for 2 people. Then you could list both names on the voucher and have a maximum of $1000 on the voucher. Being restricted by the voucher that you purchase is a bit of a trick.

Each booking needs a voucher and if total not spent on one booking you get another voucher for the balance. So 4 passengers is potentially 4 new 'leftover' vouchers

Which doesn't change the fact that vouchers do work exactly as outlined. The voucher value is per person.

Believe me that placing a call to join two voucher booking is far less painful than getting stuck with a two-name voucher when only one needs / wants to fly.

You can NOT make any call to anyone to sort that out.

No. Each booking needs a voucher but the number of people on the voucher must equal the number of people on the booking.

Any left over money is issued as a single voucher for the same number of people, not as separate vouchers per person.

I have had a voucher with 3 people named on it, and when the left over amount was sent as a voucher it was as 3 separate vouchers.

Not it sure it that's correct

Correct or not is irrelevant. roncritch booked 2 people using 2 single $500 vouchers and then joined them. It is possible to get a single voucher for 2 people or $500 each. When travelling with the same person that simply is not a problem.

I'll also note that reports of residual value for 2 person vouchers being sent as 2 separate vouchers actually addresses the concern raised about being stuck with a 2 person voucher.

I got the same. But even though I gave them the PNR they wanted the booking dates, which of course I didnt have on me as I was out.

If only that is the rule !

All of my residual vouchers continued to have 2-person restriction.

This year, I bought all in single name.

It's actually not the rule. I'm just going on the reports here of multi person vouchers being split when dishing out residual value.

Using the voucher maximum of $500 per person wasn't a problem for me. Now SWMBO has informed me of other trips I wish I had bought more vouchers.

Yes, I know.

That's why I wrote "if only" like in "I wish".

I am not disagreeing with what you wrote "reports of..."

I'm also waiting for points to credit from the 1 x $500 voucher bought a few days from the end of the promotion. Not in a hurry for the points but have all the relevant information to chase up in march if required.

Curious to see if QF get it right without any manual intervention.

As already posted... My voucher purchased at the end of the promotion (voucher not used yet) posted several weeks ago, however a largish voucher purchased at the beginning of the promotion (voucher has been used) has not posted yet...

although not 100% of the time, but commonly from reading posts here, the issues seem to be with the "used" vouchers mostly...

So did I but 11 days ago, I need these points for a booking.

had a phone call from a stressed staff member today re misssing points. Have to send through the numbers of all 12 vouchers!! they can't tell which vouchers have been creditted and which haven't been...must be a pretty slack computer system as they can't even find what vouchers were purchased by us??
