[RANT] I know we are not really allowed to be logical, and I know we are really not allowed to open our presents early and we have to wait the prescribed 8 weeks....

But in reality I bought a voucher 60 min before the promotion closed (27/12/13), these bonus points were credited over 2 weeks ago so that sets the bar in regard to expectations, but a voucher purchased on 2/12/13 has posted zippppp

Now I don't need the points yet, but obviously will want to make sure I get what was promised. I have followed the instructions provided by Red Roo and will now wait to see what happens... I don't feel guilty asking where the points are, since most logical people will understand that if points have posted for a voucher bought at the end of the promotion, then it is not unreasonable to question where are the points from the vouchers purchased at the beginning of the promotion are...?

The long wait shall now resume [/RANT]

I also had a call from QF, so hopefully I see my points soon.

I've been told twice be a few days, still waiting, what debacle!.

I'm still waiting for a call-back from the 'premium' line since Wednesday - not holding my breath though. I've used my $1000 voucher, and it seems that using it has caused the problem, as those with unused vouchers seem to have had their points credited and vice versa.

With many thanks to RedRoo I was able to sort out my failed attempt at purchasing these vouchers last December. It is good to see Qantas honouring their promises! Thankyou QF!

Now day 9 from being told by premium desk gift voucher points will be in, not yet, why am I not surprised.

Apologies, I haven't read the entire thread so don't now all circumstances...personally, I bought then immediately used the voucher (a few minutes later)...and I wonder if this is an issue. Nightly job running to identify new vouchers which only finds fully unused ones??

Perhaps, but I bought a voucher, used within a few days so issue is more than a nightly run I think...

Didn't know you could get a $1,000 voucher. I though $500 was the highest amount.

Same. We had to get 12 vouchers @ $500 .... 6 @$1000 would have been easier and less messy.

but can only use one voucher per booking. I had to do 2 bookings and then ring and get them to put the two together. I also got caught out by only placing the voucher in one name (Mrs RC) and could not add myselfand do a joint booking......I find their vouchers a little too restrictive:)

$500 was the maximum amount per person. 2 people travelling - $1000. If 4 people on one voucher would be $2000, but you all have to travel together.

I can only find 1 person who is willing to travel with me. :)

And it may not show up in 'your bookings' when you do that

it doesn't work that way. Did you buy any vouchers???

In what sense?

Each booking needs a voucher and if total not spent on one booking you get another voucher for the balance. So 4 passengers is potentially 4 new 'leftover' vouchers

Purchased a voucher for $1000 (2 people travelling) on 27/12. Booked flights on 8/1 using aforesaid voucher and balance on CC. Expected 10,000 points for the $1000 voucher. Nothing yet.
