11 weeks now... (1 week since PM'ing Red Roo but no response)

Red Roo, I'd really appreciate an update please as 11 weeks is not really what was promised, why can't points be manually entered....?

Wonder how many people are still owed points...?

I'm keeping an eye on this and working closely with the teams involved. We're aiming for a collective resolution and hope to finalise this soon.

However I'd be happy to follow up for you via private message.

Sent PM to RR with details on 26 Feb, but since then no response or points.

Still waiting for 5,000 points. Nothing further than the "we'll get back to you ASAP" response to my email on 28/02. I wonder when ASAP is...

Can't do your ADL/PER or vv JASA's without enough points, so QF's tardiness is their loss. Built my balance to 60K, now to decide how to spend

I am less than 2k away from booking the award (72k) as you mention QF WP, but am owed 12k from the Christmas promotion... Holding off for today to see if points post... then I don't know :-|

If I'm paying a full cash fare then it doesn't really matter who I book with so in general you are correct and Qantas will miss out on the fare

No points from Qantas so on a full cash (Flexi) fare booking VA get the sale, (Double Points too if they post...)

...not sure what booking page is worse, Singapore or Virgin Australia...

Edit: Nothing but trouble that Virgin Website.... Red Roo, my pain and anger could have been easily been avoided if those points came through within the 8 weeks as promised...

Same boat, voucher purchased 6 Dec for $1k. 5,000 points posted mid Feb, 5,000 missing. Emailed FF, generic response so far

Well at least you have a generic response. I've had nothing since I emailed Red Roo, getting on for 3 weeks ago. Red Roo was 'keeping an eye on this'.

Maybe the Red Roo position was a 27 February casualty. I hope not, as I feel QF could learn a lot from from the contact with this section of their travelling community.

I read somewhere that the "Red Roos" were within the Loyalty sanctum which was not under attack from the slashing of jobs, but I have also pondered similar thoughts...

I was wondering if our resident Red Roo has been through a "Regeneration Process" like seen in the Dr Who TV series... Where there is a biological ability exhibited to allow a process where a said entity who is old or mortally wounded to undergo a transformation into a new physical form and a somewhat different personality.

Shame there has been no update from one of the "Roos" but I guess that says something itself doesn't it...?

Red Roo, you have always been helpful...Where are you now...?

Edit: Yes It's been a while since we heard the words of reassurance from Red Roo... Over 2 weeks actually...

I e-mailed Qantas about no 10pt per $ bonus in early Feb, got a phone call about a week back later saying they had to escalate it to a technical department and nothing since. Guess I should contact them again and find out what is happening (I'm only owed 1500pts so it isn't a big deal), but it wouldn't surprise me if things were collapsing in a heap in the qantas office with all these cutbacks.

I have been patiently waiting as I thankfully have no urgent requirement for the points but it really is a farce now.

I have been expecting 20k points and actually got 10k in mid-Feb. I expected the remaining 10k to follow quickly but still nothing and the vouchers were bought within 10 minutes of each other. How hard is it?

E-mailed QF FF last weekend and got a call telling me it would be resolved shortly. Shortly though appears to be the same as 'how long is a piece of string?' as a week later there is still no sign of them!

Will continue with my weekly e-mails and subsequent return calls until they appear but this shouldn't be the way!!

Come on Red Roo!!

I was hoping to use mine for a Europe J award flight, sent emails spread over 2 months asking when, had 3 phone calls back the exact same as yours, bla, bla, bla, meant nothing, all BS, Qantas just can't get anything right.

This promotion has achieved exactly the reverse what Qantas had envisaged... I made bookings yesterday but not with Qantas since no points from the Christmas voucher promotion meant I was short for an award (Points & Cash)

Since it was therefore going to be a cash fare, BFOTD meant business went elsewhere...

I'm sure that VA are pleased with the situation since they are benefiting from a Qantas failed promotion.

YMMV

Pretty sure QF loyalty couldn't give a flying kangaroo about a BFOD customer IMO.

Fair enough. No loss to them then is there  They probably dont give a flying Kangaroo about giving me my points either

But for me I'd rather pay ~30%-50% less since its a significant saving which could in turn provide some comfort at my local Dans ;)

If they can't look after people like shintaro10x, what's the point?

Within the past half-year I guess I've had problems with a double SC promotion not crediting in the promised time, a 50% bonus SC promotion not crediting in time and subtracting over 1,000 SCs from my lifetime total, a credit card transfer bonus not crediting in the promised time, two JASA bookings crediting as zero SCs... all in all it's meant a lot of phone calls. I was tempted by the gift vouchers promotion, but I won't be using it next year either.

So what's next?

Launching in March 2014 and available to all Australia based businesses with an ABN, Aquire
