OK, we will definitely go with the lite option for the 19th and move the formal lunch and DC3 flight to later.

So that's:
Subject to schedules/permissions etc, I am looking at the following program to be held 19th/20th May:

Saturday 10 AM Airways Muesum Guided Tour Airways Museum / Civil Aviation Historical Society
Saturday 1200 to 1400 Lunch [-]with JB747 (if he is available) - ask the pilot in person.
Saturday Afternoon 1400-1630 - behind the scenes at MEL with either a facilities tour or airline tour[/-]
[-]TBC
Saturday Early Evening - 1700 checkin for 1730 departure ex Essendon - DC3 flight over the city - around $120 per person.
Saturday Dinner - 1930 Casual wind down get together in the city.
Sunday - Open at this stage..[/-]

It's a little disappointing that JB has had to pull out (I was looking forwards to meeting him), that said, flights are already booked and I'm still seriously excited about going, plus 18th / 19th Aug is the week before the tentative week of harvyk's Asian adventure, so I'd certainly be interested in an F-Lounge double + behind the scenes tour.

Just out of interest, is there still is an ATC person coming to lunch?

Depends if you want a current one or an ex ATC who has little hair ;)

As long as the ex ATC who has little hair doesn't mind me bringing along 101 different questions they will do...

I'm in thanks, should be interesting to meet the AFF people. DC 3 flight in still in I hope?

I'll drop out. A bit too far to come from PER for the lite option and my travel and accommodation are refundable.

Flight JT001 has been confirmed and all passengers checked in. Departing outside T2 at 0915.

I look forward to meeting everyone on the day.

Presuming it's still a 10:00am start, I'll be on the 9:30am 478 bus from Essendon R/S

How many people were required for the DC3 flight, as that was the part I was most interested in.

My 1 way flight is flexible; and so is my accommodation but I was kind of looking forward to it.

Agreed, I was also really looking forwards to the DC3 flight.
Is it still on the cards or has it been cancelled full stop?
