Happy to go ahead with the lite version or defer to another suitable date (I live in Melbourne), but an still not intending the do flight

Our flights and hotel are non-refundable so myself and +1 are definitely in for the lite option on the day arranged.
(We would also be unable to make August).

I know we will all still have a fantastic day and we're looking forward to it immensely.

As per others here my flights are non-refundable so I'll be there for the light option.
Heck we can make our own fun especially with a few of us staying at HOTP. :)

It's too far ahead for me to commit to anything in August. If it involves a DC3 flight I will try hard to make it, currently no guarantees.

I am not exactly sure what is on offer for the 19th May. If it is museum, lunch lite and DC3 flight I am still interested.

If it is museum and lunch I will pull out.

Thanks for all your hard work in trying to organise this, shame for the last minute changes.

Definitely not paying a $60 refund fee on a $80 ticket. I'll probably still go, just a day trip for me anyways, easy with what happens.
I'm sure I can entertain myself for an arvo - if need be I could always try out fly ahead for the first time and see if it works ;)

Sad that is hasn't worked out. August is no good for me as I'll be at the Olympics. September would be better :p

Beverages at:
- 18o6
- Madame Brussels
- Croft
- Robot
- Gin Palace
- Anywhere :)

Looks interesting... I'm only there for the day though and they might not let me board if we visit all of them :D

Depending on where lunch is and drinks etc..... I may come along just for a catch up.

I may be able to assist with some of the transport if I am tagging along.

Hope you are continuing to make a good recovery.
It would be great to see you there :)

More the merrier I say! I think it will be a fun day regardless of the activities!

Sorry to hear of the hassles markis10, and appreciate your efforts in organising...often many potholes and obstacles along the way. As it stands, myself and +1 will pull out of May 19 altogether, but may still be on the cards for 'Mk 2', dependent on final date(s) and arrangements.

Cheers.

If the DC3 flight is not on, can we at least get our money back until things are re-planned? I don't like having that much cash tied up in a 'maybe' as my cash flow is limited right now due to the amount of business travel i'm doing (And having to wait for expense claims is a PITA!).

I'm definitely up for it, but will pay when the re-scheduled flight goes ahead.

The DC3 flight will be on later in this year, as I have already mentioned refunds are not an issue for those that cannot make it or wait, it will be via a bank deposit not credit card refund, just PM me.

Thanks markis. I'm assuming if I go ahead with the refund, i'll still have the opportunity to pay at a later date for the re-scheduled one?

Yes, if we have the room, its a bit of a fine art given the limited seats, bit like yield management 1.0, and no op ups! I have been given an accommodation package and 1 hours full motion flight sim (at a great rate) and I have decided to give it away for those that decide to defer to the new date as an apology for the last minute changes, it will be drawn at the lunch.

I'll defer till an exact date is chosen, in August I am only gone for that one weekend 18-19 (so far).

For those who don't know, there is a surcharge on the site you used to pay by CC: Pricing and Signup | Eventarc
Booking fee
$1 + 3% of the ticket value per ticket. Maximum fee of $15 per ticket.
Credit card processing fees
2.5% of total transaction value.

I definitely dont want mark to be out of pocket considering his time investment.
If I'm getting a refund mark, dont forget to take the processing fee out of the $.

Happy to defer the DC3 flight until August.

Since we're having a 'light' get together is it possible to list what is actually planned (if anything) for the weekend so we can fill in the gaps with some near spontaneous events.
