Some sort of attempt to placate people for failing to award the 20,000 bonus points?

'1000 points boost!*

Just activate and shop in-store or online at Woolworths by Thursday, 4th April.

Enjoy 1000 bonus points* boost from Woolworths Pet Insurance.

Hi there,

We’re always looking for ways to bring you better value.

So now that you’re part of the team we’re giving you a nice big bonus point boost when you next shop at Woolworths.

Activate now - shop before Thursday, 4th April.

Just activate below, then shop and scan your Rewards card in-store or shop online for 1000 points to instantly land in your balance!*

But don’t leave it too long – shop before Thursday, 4th April.'
Made a shop. Points awarded within 48 hours.

Seems clear that they can award the points quickly if they choose to. So they are obviously deliberately delaying the 20,000.

They can 100% award points manually immediately. I accidentally bought the wrong type of gift card a few weeks ago (yep I know, my own fault for not looking properly) and when I rang up and explained the situation they manually awarded the points as a good will gesture. Points in my account 5 minutes after I got off the phone.

I can’t see any reason why PetSure could t give a list of rewards account numbers to Woolworths rewards and ask them to manually award what’s owed.

I bought mine on 6 Feb. Am I safe to cancel it and they still have to give the points?

I'd make sure that you've already complained about non payment of the points and that you intend to chase them for the points before cancelling. I'd also given them a deadline to award the points before I cancelled. Thus flagging my intention to cancel.

Then mention that you're cancelling because of their fraudulent, deceptive, deceitful or misleading conduct when you do cancel.

Now Ralphy thems really strong words - exactly how many pets did you insure? Do they actually all exist?

I've called them twice, had it escalated to a supervisor about the points. I've spoken to someone at Woolies Rewards and they say its up to the insurance company. I haven't written to anyone. I got one guy to postpone the 4th payment to 4 April when they will take 2 payments. I just want to be rid of this company but get the points they promised.

I contacted them through Facebook. Took 2 days before someone replied, but got a phone call and the next day, 20k points in my account.
Contact them through FB, include your complaint (obviously), policy number, WW rewards number and phone number (I didn't then had to wait for a reply) and they'll follow up.
The person I spoke to was actually super helpful and followed up with me 3 times in a day and provided a non generic email to contact with any issues.
My 3 calls and 2 emails got me nowhere. Give it a go if you haven't already

ALERT ALERT ALERT: I have received some points!

Need to check all of my accounts but I can already see 80,000 points in one of my accounts.

Still double checking but looks like I have all of my points for every one of the pet policies.

If you don't have your points keep phoning and sending them emails. At the very least this will waste their time :)

I just got the points as well, geez that's the hardest 10k QF points I have ever got....

Time to cancel the policy.

Edit: I saw they have changed the T&C in the new promotion, guess they realised their system isn't good enough to issue points in 30 days:

Woolworths Rewards bonus points will be loaded within 45 days of the first premium being paid in full as long as the policy is still active and the account is not in arrears.
