Changed. Didn't have any problems changing to JQ1. Just explained that I wanted to depart from the international terminal same as the existing flight. BTW - love the automatic call back feature.

Thanks for the heads up KPC. Mrs munitalP changed the flights last night, new itinerary on my email this morning.

I might see you guys in the Flounge if I check in really early, I'm on QF1 to LHR on the 22nd

Just rang QF. Not able to change to JQ1. "I have no availability"

Ring back and try again. Ask for a supervisor if you don't get anywhere. JQ1 is still showing as the cheapest flight ($49) on that day, so there's plenty of seats.

A question Re BP

flying QF8 then with QJ1 - QF8 I'm fine but the connecting QJ1 - Do I do OLC print out BP at BNE Int ask them for DOM sticker or do I have to do it in SYD transfer?

Thanks

Just realised you are booked on the one PNR, ignore me ...

If they give you a D sticker with QF8 and no JQ boarding pass, no issues, just make sure you do OLCI before hand, you can then transfer at T1 and collect a boarding pass at the transfer desk underneath the QP/F lounge within two hours of departure. On arrival in Mel show had in your QF8 boarding pass with sticker.

If I park at Domestic, I wonder if I can use the transfer desk to use QF bus to get to INT? All to save the hassle of train which is only $5. But hey take what you can :)

Sometimes the security guy will ask to see your incoming flight boarding pass, even if you have a boarding pass for Jetstar.

I thought this was the proceedure but sometime the que is long time wait even if only a couple of PAX will try awilcockson 1st advice (B/4 editing) of going to BNE DOM - then I can enjoy more time in F lounge.

thanks guys :)

What queue, you can also pickup the BP at the gate as you are about to board, as a few of us did last time.

Just be aware that it is $10 more to park at the domestic terminal for 2 days than at the International terminal.

My intention is to park in the new 20 minute domestic pickup area, run in and back and then drive over and park at the INT terminal :)

Its actually cheaper at the Domestic, $49 vs $52 so long as you keep it to after 12 noon Friday to 12 noon Monday.

I'm assuming that's for pre-booked parking?

I've tried that a couple of times, just tried for the weekend in December and as usual I get:

There are no spaces available. Please choose a different car park or entry and exit time.

I'd like to hear form anyone who has EVER managed to book parking online at the discounted rate, because I haven't. Reeks of scam to me.

Me.

Near 12 months of parking at SYD I watched close for discounts. The best was the DOM terminal 3 day weekend for around $60

You need to do it only a few weeks out, for instance no issues getting $49 this weekend or next! In Friday PM our Monday AM, good value.parl.jpg
