Near 12 months of parking at SYD I watched close for discounts. The best was the DOM terminal 3 day weekend for around $60

OK, but that's SYD, not BNE.

You need to do it only a few weeks out, for instance no issues getting $49 this weekend or next! In Friday PM our Monday AM, good value.

Well it is good value (compared to the normal extortionate rates) if you can get a booking, but I have never managed to find a free space available to book.

What queue, you can also pickup the BP at the gate as you are about to board, as a few of us did last time.

Been there twice where pax at counter and three waiting took nearly 1/2 hr to get service. I like your suggestion of getting BP at gate.

I don't think I ever replied about the JQ run, but I bought a seat on JQ35 as a hedge, and have now rebooked that onto JQ1. Phone agent was very easy to deal with, no questions asked...

For a group of this size, sharing taxi(s) is probably the easiest and most economical. If we can swing a MAXI cab at the taxi rank, that would be ideal.


I have a private driver I use a little bit, but I doubt he will be working on the weekend, this close to Christmas...

Now that Sams event is over, I will update this over the next few days. I didn't want to take the focus away from all the awesome planning Sam had done, again I take my hat off to you!

I have a few additional spots available now for dinner, first in first served. PM me if you want to join in for dinner.

I will update the dinner menu soon, the Xmas fare us soon to be decided on, I have a preliminary menu which looks awesome but won't post till Pure South confirm.

Very keen for this, but Mrs MatF will be about 32 weeks pregnant by then, which more or less rules me out either alone or with her in tow
