Certainly that number is well below the 60000 felons pardoned by the Governor of Virginia in time for them to register to vote.A known friend of the Clintons-

Terry McAuliffe pardoned 60,000 felons – enough to swing the state’s presidential election – just in time for them to register to vote for the 2016 presidential contest. Now, a voter fraud group is requesting information on those voters, as Mr. McAuliffe pardoned them with an auto-pen despite a state court’s requirement that an individualized determination be made for each felon.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation wants to ensure the 60,000 felons Mr. McAuliffe pardoned were personally reviewed and approved, per state law.

Not to mention the illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities who likely voted after Obama told them they were entitled to.

What Terry McAuliffe did in Virgina was a disgrace - blatant election rigging.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

The silent majority does

Well hate crimes in the USA are now currently higher then after 9/11.

"Since the election, we've seen a big uptick in incidents of vandalism, threats, intimidation spurred by the rhetoric surrounding Mr. Trump's election," Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala., told USA TODAY. "The white supremacists out there are celebrating his victory and many are feeling their oats," Cohen said.

Post-election spate of hate crimes worse than post-9/11, experts say

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

Trump Won. Clinton lost. This is what happens in a democratic society when people like Clinton can't identify with people and the public want to rebel.

I wish people would just get over it and move on.

actually the silent majority has remained - silent. Protests and rioting and intimidation done by anarchist elements of the left, who also faked attacks by Trump's people

Hate crime?. Only when the left is hated. The left actually hate more

Clintons camp and Michelle Obama - "when they take the low road ... We take the high road". Only when it suits them

Yes, its awful, isn't it? All those hate filled post election protests; foam flecked lips spewing forth their vitriol against the election winner. And speaking of 9/11, including claims that the Trump win was "worse than 9/11".

Nice people. Anyone here want to identify as being on that side?

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

It seems hard to remain objective and not be on anyone's side apparently as basis comes out on here.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

I am in a bind. I don't like Trump. One little bit. Probably most people don't like him. Yet Clinton couldn't muster up enough votes to counter the dislike. And that says an awful lot about Clinton.

As far as the gender thing? THAT is the bit some women need to get over. This was not about Clinton being female.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

Yes was not about H being a female per se. It appears to be a pushback from people who did not want to be told what to think or say and surprisingly about non gender and non race issues in spite of how it was portrayed

And the Dems lost because they made these issues all about gender and race that they became blind to reality, preferring to believe only their narrative

And which side exactly is that you refer to Roo? To clarify - I am an unabashed Hillary supporter.
This thread has run its course.
This thread is now dead as far as I am concerned JohnnyK.
Totally disagree that the thread has run it's course.
There is much to discuss in the coming days, religious beliefs aside.
Yes there certainly has been some intelligent and insightful posts during those coming days PF - some posts even required reporting to Mods they were so good.

Clarification: I post this fully understanding the responses that might follow - that's the beauty / ugliness of social media and the internet in general - posting in perceived anonymity is such an interesting concept.

Except - AFF isn't really anonymous because many of us have met.

There is certainly a band of Clinton supporters who are showing an ugly side but I think this has been over reported and sensationalised by the media.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

The thread hasn't run its course, rather their are a of couple xenophobes, misogynists and racists who keep posting to try to shutdown discussion on anything they view against their extremely narrow view of the world. At the end of day, Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, is a xenophobe, is a misogynist and is a racist who is part of the establishment.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

Do Americans actually understand the concept of democracy?
Where a biased few choose the candidate and ask the majority to vote? That's not democracy. Not even close.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

It doesn't matter which side won, there would have been demos. Maybe more guns on one side than the other.

Re: 2016 US Presidential Election

Trump lied 77% of the time compared to 27% of the time for Clinton.

I am just glad I am not American. I like visiting the USA and I cant see that changing in the next few years. We have 3 trips already booked.

But same applies to Clinton. Hell, even in Greece

I thought it was Trump who was the extoller of all things nasty but clearly he doesn't have the ransom on that.

My sons partner is a medico in NSW on a permanent visa here. She has both British and US citizenship. She was against Brexit and also wanted Clinton. She has no passport left she wants to use!
