Radio silence from the AU F1 bosses/FIA is very poor considering the media are filling the space left empty with such strong statements.
This is one thing that many leaders just simply don't seem to understand. Create a vacuum of information and the media will always fill in the gaps and never with helpful statements.

This is not going to be a good few months. And I think mental health will take a battering. People will rightfully be stuck at home, isolated, and not even with sport to fill in the gaps. Maybe first world priorities but I know sport in our family is a significant release. I wonder when media production itself will be impacted.

My media training has always been based around 'If you don't say something, someone else will'.

5 teams voted to proceed. 5 voted to cancel.

Some teams have arrived at the track. Some have not shown up yet.

Gate opening has been delayed at the track.

This is disgraceful chaos.

Chairman Daniel Andrews has said NO spectators at GP if it goes ahead at all

Gates of Albert Park still locked, fans outside. Waiting for some sort of official statement. Don't think it's officially 'off' yet.
Chaos indeed

I see the upcoming AUS/NZ one day cricket will go ahead in empty stadiums...

EK409 passenger list posted on Twitter.
Both Ferrari drivers flew out at 6am.

Seemingly if it goes ahead it might be closed to spectators with half a field ..

Currently in MEL now. Virgin cancelled my SYD-MEL originally scheduled for this morning, so I got them to change it and flew here yesterday. Now I've just booked a flight back to SYD for Sat morning, this race isn't going to happen. Hopefully be able to watch it on Kayo.

It’s cancelled

I would imagine all football codes will be cancelled or played without spectators too now.
