No, there is Platinum in Skywards.

But the drivers do regularly fly private, and a lot of flying would not be with EK because, well, DXB isn't the most convenient place to fly as a connection point from Europe to the Americas. And there are plenty of other carriers as well which would take up some of their other flying needs.

If Vettel and Raikkonen did leave on EK 409 (with 6am departure) they must have known the race would be cancelled late last night. In which case why did the Australian Grand Prix Corporation only announce the cancellation at 9.00 am this morning?

The news website (I know I know ) said the decision was made at 2am.

My view is if the government acted, then perhaps it could be covered under event insurance.

It is known though that several teams wanted to race. Definitely not manufacturers though. Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault did not turn up to the paddock this morning at all.

Argentinian round of the WRC has been postponed as well. Chile had been cancelled, doesn't look good for the upcoming rounds in Portugal and Sardinia.

There is a WRC thread, but it's locked, any chance of it being reopened, or easier to start a new one?

From Mexico. A different sort of fire involving a Fiesta! WRC | Videos
That thread is more than 2 years since the last post, so best to start a new thread for the 2020 season (include year in the title).

I am now glad work commitments prevented me from going to the Vietnam F1 GP in April.

The 2021 rule change deferral is an interesting one. The big three were already spending way too much money for the 2021 car and this will just accentuate their dominance over the rest of the field. I assume the newly reduced salary cap remains for next year.

I think it was a Ferrari protection measure.
With Italy in lockdown it's a big advantage to the other teams
