We will be in the UK just before the ABBA concerts start.However I really don't see the point of it.I will just continue listening to our CDs.

Just had my covid jab info onto my (my)gov account, shows the 2 pfizer jabs.
But not sure where to go, do I go ahead and book a flight from Au to NZ for 2022, do I dare, hoping NZ will open up (again) to Aussies by Jul 2022.
And if they will keep on their rule of all incoming visitors to have a negative covid test, ie, paying the fee to have the test, and iso until results are known.
Or do I wait and see what happens, re if the TransTasman bubble will unpop.

I had tickets to Eurovision last year - if I could get to Eurovision Italy 2022 (May dates tba) , languish in Lake Como at VillaDEste and then off to Abba London - will be a very happy person. I think I’m developing a little bit of something ‘to look forward to’ to alleviate dull grey lockdown day in Melb… lovely

With Qantas saying they are taking bookings from Dec this year, we've booked Hawaii in February. We figure this is one of the safest plans to make. After all, we all know Scomo has a certain place in his heart for Hawaii. Maybe we will see him there.

Trying to be optimistic (some need based personal travels)

1. AT LEAST couple of trips to India (need to be there in person to sign some stuff)
2. A status run to RAR (assuming VA opens Intl) to get Platinum. Spend 5 days or so in RAR. Have read a lot of good things about RAR, so want to try it. Solo trip preferred at this point in time & will probably remain so.
3. Definitely a trip to MEL & SYD

International trips to be done once home quarantine is in place (choose NOT to do Hotel Quarantine, due to work commitments)

Domestic trips to be done once borders are opened & NO quarantine needed (home or otherwise, again, work commitments)

Booked on QFF ASP to LHR 4-20 May 2022. 3 days in London, then pop over to NW France for a week and a half. WW2 sites in Normandy & Loire coastal areas that I have been wanting to visit forever, and now that I have been denied for last 18 months, will go as soon as I can. May should be enough time for outbound travel being allowed. Hopefully max of 7 days Home Quarantine on return.

Just redeemed 2 x J awards on QR MEL-MAN Sep 14 next year using AsiaMiles points. We have 3 weeks booked on a narrowboat starting on the 16th. This was originally scheduled for 2020, but has had to be re-arranged twice due to the pandemic.
