I did a quote but haven't signed up yet. Got a call today from ANZ trying to sign me up over the phone. There was a bonus of $100 Visa gift card for signing up over the phone, but no QFF points.

is it reloadable? :)

My wife is 59 works part time, ANZ income protection quoted her $2100 PA not a good deal at all.

How long is it taking points for policy amount to credit?

Has confirmation of policy been received?

I signed up for this at 11 pm on July 31 - credit card debited a few days later, but other than that, haven't received any QFF points, or any confirmation of policy, either via e-mail or post. Unfortunately I didn't write the ref number down, as I figured I would receive some sort of e-mail or letter.

I got the letter in the mail from ANZ / OnePath about a week after signing up, and I got the points for the premium component 13 days after buying.

I have received QFF points for premium now, but no confirmation of policy received!

Has anyone living in NZ tried this or is it just for Oz?

It looks like it's only for Oz!

For anyone interested, offer appears to be still available, albeit 10,000 points now. Given my situation, I suspect I'll receive 10,000 points, rather than 20,000, since I can't prove I signed up when 20,000 points was on offer (no screen shot of anything).

I took this offer up before. And I took out the cheapest income protection. Was like $8 or something a month. After 6 months I canceled it (as that was the min time u needed to have it). $48 for 10,000 points!

I just realised that I never did get my few points for taking this out. Did anyone else not get their down payment points and have any luck getting them? I had organised and paid this on the phone.

I received my points for the the annual premium but still shy of the 12 mths for the bonus.....the sad thing is in the current economic climate I might need to claim on it..........I am going to increase the policy at the end of the month.

Is there / was there a bonus for keeping it for a year?

I've still got mine (income protection/taxman approved), but no nothing about 12 months!

My reminder to cancel after 12 months kicks in on Saturday. I'll have to check this out myself.

the deal was sign up and hold the policy for 12mths and get a bonus 20K QFF points - that's why we all have 12mth reminders - nearly time to start chasing and cancelling if the policy is not what you need

Anyone seeing the 20K bonus points credited as yet??

I missed the 20k offer but looks like the current one is 10k for 6 months so I might give that a crack.

Where do you put in your QF number? Is it after you've taken out the cover (I.e. not part of the application process?)

From memory (did mine almost 12 months ago), it was te last thing you entered, on a screen after the application was completed.

I received a letter on 13 May advising my policy was approaching its policy anniversary which is June 24 and that they have increased the benefit by 2.7% and my new yearly premium is $80, they also advised my amount will be deducted from my nominated CC and gave the last 4 digits thankfully. So yes another 6-8 weeks waiting I feel

Thinking you're probably right... it's likely that in order to get the 20K QF bonus points, we will need to pay the renewal premium, and then get a pro-rata refund for the remaining balance of that premium on cancelling the policy after the QF points are credited... provided that is the only reason you had taken it out in the 1st place. Looking back at some of the older posts, it looks like 'up to 14 months for points to be credited' was a factor to consider.

Correct

Another premium needs to be paid, and then cancel the policy and get a pro-rata refund, and then wait another 2 months for the points!
