20k bonus points with ANZ Income Protection Insurance

received my 20k. However, I called them up to remove my direct debit details before the anniversary date so that it would not auto renew. However, don't actually cancel the policy because they will cancel it the day you call up and you won't get the points. Just ask for DD details to be removed.
 
20k points for one of my family members, about 2 weeks after the anniversary date and have been charged the amount for the next 12 months

Other family members still waiting but their anniversary date was a little later
 
I received my points today. I called up a few days before my renewal date and cancelled - I made sure and confirmed it was to run its course for the year and be cancelled on the renew date.

So I guess that confirms that a) you don't need to renew for the next year to get the bonus 20k, and b) as long as you make sure it cancels on the renew date you can still ring up early and cancel.
 
Is that you annual fee and bonus together.....cause my annual fee posted but not the bonus and I am going to hate calling them to discuss it

Same here. No sign of the 20K as yet.

I'm another that got the points only for my premium at this stage - no bonus as yet. My anniversary was 24th June... I received the letter... I pay annually. I'll give it until next week and then try following up. I plan to cancel the policy once the bonus points are secured, though looks like from kreuky's post above, I might just do that after a confirmation that they are on the way.

Got my 20k points (a couple of weeks after renewal date and after the 2nd year's annual fee had been charged to my card). Called today, had the policy cancelled and the 2nd year's annual fee refunded.
 
I got paperwork and the annual premium was paid about 2 weeks ago by direct debit. No points as yet.
 
been a month since premium paid........still nothing.....Ian advised me on the phone it could take up to 60 days for the bonus.....well thats nice but the two people I have spoken to have escalated it and gave assurances that it would be resolved by Friday last week.......don't make promises that you can't keep it makes you look like liars.....lodged a complaint and will await a return call by a complaints officer..........thinking this policy is going to be terminated ASAP
 
Received the 20K QFF points a couple of weeks ago. Called to cancel today and was promptly refunded not just the pro-rata amount for the balance of the second year, but for both years, in full! $153.94!

So ANZ ended up gifting me 20K QFF points and $153.94 for my time to apply/cancel (10-15 mins?). And here I was thinking only stoopid credit card companies offering generous sign-on bonus points behaved like this.

Still no points for me, none at all. I'll see the outcome of the 'escalation'.

Still waiting for my points too a month after renewal.

Another here still waiting... too lazy to go through the whole process... which they probably know. The fact there is a report of a full refund is rather enticing though, I must say! :cool:
 
I still haven't receive my 20k QFF points however today I got a $100 visa gift card for saying thanks for renewing their policy. Did anyone also get this?
 
Curious... did anyone who has been awarded the 20K bonus get it as a stand-alone sum, or was it only included with the points for their 2nd year premium?

Yes I did

However not sure if it was for renewal.....thinking they are trying to push my complaint (still yet to receive my 20000QFF points)....waiting the 14 days as rudely advised to see if anyone acknowledges my complaint
 
I too received the $100 gift card under the "ANZ Visa $100 Gift Card" promotion, but I applied under the 20K QFF points promotion? No sign of the points.
 
Complaint officer called me today....checked my confirmation I was registered for the 20K points.....explained that yes I followed the link for QFF page and also confirmed it when I spoke to an officer on the phone and advised if they were having difficulty they could replay the recording.....less then 10mins on the phone and he confirmed they would be crediting the points within 3 weeks.....he also confirmed that the $100 was mine to keep....so once I cancel the policy and get prorata refund...plus my deduction.....I think they might have paid me for the points.....will advise once points post
