You can order with an Oz CC but it has to be done on the phone which means no AA bonus miles.

He confirmed all internet orders with a foreign CC will be rejected.

No alternative, he claimed.

And in a nice turn of events...

Order was made during promo... promptly cancelled the following day by magazines.com.... exchange rate changed the following day so actually refunded 60 cents more than purchase price... and today... miles posted to AA... only 10059 miles (not the extra bonus 7500 miles) but bargain!

Anyone else get the miles???

I got 16K in December still waiting for the 2,500 bonus. Magazines have gone to a hospital in US which asks for donations of magazine subscriptions.

Sure and they were refunded out of the account shortly afterwards as yours likely will be too

Nice deal for AA points, back then, even with the US merger on hold. But in hindsight with two lots of US Air share promos at $1.13 cpp and an apparent 1:1 conversion to AA points post FF merger, this deal seems a little poor in hindsight.
