Have you checked their website to see if it was an error?

I've found some decent prices with Vintage before.

I did search the site but only the standard NV Taittinger (c. $80) came up. It didn't come up with a search of Dan Murphy's either.

It's very strange. Generally Vintage Cellars' prices are pretty competitive.

I meant to add that the 2002 Comtes got a rave review in the latest Gourmet Traveller Wine in a big blanc de blancs tasting. They listed RRP as $350.

I was shopping in Melbourne this weekend and saw this vintage poster in a store which I though the Billecart fans may enjoy.

I bought a bottle of 98 tattinger comtes de champagne for about 165 inc tax in nyc!

Warehouse Wines and Spirits :) also got 98 Palmes D`Or for about 76 bucks! BARGAIN!!!!

Good thinking JohnM!
Going to Sydney tomorrow to deplete their stocks of Dom.
Leaving my sons to forage.

Bump!
I was in Vintage Cellars today and noticed that they have a Taittinger gift pack on special.
Pack is a bottle of NV Taittinger, two engraved champagne glasses in a fancy box.
It was originally priced at $80 but is available now at $66 if bought as part of any six bottles.
Bought one for Shrek as I'm sure he'll share it with me on his birthday  ;)
