But I will try to visit again soon.

Just hope QF and AA get whatever they have going on sorted out, and that I'm not miscounting my vacation days (and can get them approved), and can get flights, and still have enough time/miles to do the other things I want to do on this trip. If those all work, then I'll be there.

Certainly well-located. There is a range of good restaurants, a winebar and a beer bar in the complex.

Having visited Perth between Christmas and New Year Uber has arrived, after seeing this thread pop up I was thinking of a day activity including boats and wine. Would be good if you can attend TheBosman; just making sure you realize that Perth is on the other side of Australia, like 5 hours from the East Coast of Australia. it might be possible to fly from US to Perth on AA and QF lets hope that AA/QF have sorted out AAwards by then. (having met TheBosman in 2 countries already not including Australia)

The bigger problem for me will be getting ~3 weeks straight off at work. I can do it, and I'll actually have the vacation time (I actually have a job with a decent employer now, for once in my life ), but boss might be a little iffy on it.
