Just spoke to our driver - $60 per car SYD drop off hotel circuit CBD

I will be getting my normal driver for Mr & Mrs! - you onboard notzac?

Anyone else, let me know and I will book...

Mr!

How many people can we squash into a car? Four only?

If it's four per car, then at $15, that's not entirely bad, depending on the vehicle they are using and as long as the price remains fixed (for obvious reasons :)).

Mr!

What kind of cars generally? Only a Statesman / Fairline?

If we're going to get a 3-4 people per car at SYD, $15-$20 sounds good for me.

How are people getting to the airport in MEL in the morning? I was going to catch the SkyBus, but could be interested in alternative arrangements as well

We'll be taking a cab from the SYD to the Hilton on Saturday morning. I expect to pay $30 max.

I'd only pay that much if it was better than a Statesman/Fairline :!:

If that's what car type it is, my driver is normally cheaper than $60...

Dan, assuming you would be sharing, it would be $15

The point of a driver is so you are not travelling in a pus box cab - each to their own - I dont rearly care

As a point - 7 series & a Caprice

Mr!

I loathe Taxi's and would happily take the Airport Rail but SWMBO finds it extremely problematic to take subways ... :-|

..Rumour has it that there may be a large convention in Sydney during the week of AFF Gather #3, or the week after (not sure). Either way, might be a good idea to make sure accommodation is secure for everyone.
The 2009 worldmasters is to be held in Syd 10-18 October.
From about Aus: info Sydney 2009 World Masters Games
The Games will host approximately 25,000 people from upwards of 100 countries. They will compete across 28 sports at more than 70 venues throughout the city.
On 23 Oct will still be people in Syd from this event. More particpants than Sydney 2000
