What was the pool like last time? :shock:



I will be driving down from Brisbane for this, so I will have a vehicle, so happy to act as chauffeur where convenient in exchange for chocolate or miles (just kidding.... gratuities not required...)

That said, since my first event will be Saturday night dinner, I'll be likely driving down Saturday afternoon. I'm not doing the golf on Sunday morning, so might be able to ferry people from OOL or HSP as required. (That said, it will need multiple trips and/or I've only a small car that can fit 3-4 pax at most). Ditto that for those in the evening who may need a lift back to OOL, and possibly BNE.

The b*s is here in the garage. The problem is not the availability of the b*s, but the availability NM himself . Too many other things happening in NM-family at this time of the year - and that is with only 2 mini-NMs still at home!

In terms of transport, I'll be able to make a few runs but not sure after the BBQ as I might not be under 0.05. There are shuttles that can be arranged to OOL so later today I'll look at their prices, with so many here, though leaving at varying times, a deal might be able to be worked out.

In the car from here, with average traffic, it's a half hour trip, but if the traffic isn't good it can be a tad longer.

My other car is a Toyota Prado, with room for 7 passengers (though luggage could be a problem if all seats are taken).

It's a little cleaner than that this time, well at least now. Just put a blue block in the skimmer to make the water sparkle




I will probably head to the airport whenever the group does... I will enquire about 'fly ahead' when I check in. If that works I may leave at a similar time, otherwise I will force myself to having some vino in the lounge. I suspect we will have a good quorum in the lounge at OOL throughout the afternoon.

I really should have waited until the lounge opened before booking, but I thought at $48 on QF I could forego the lounge.

It's too early for me too! Depending on how the flights are for OTP I may utilise arrivals access (I think I can do that?) and wait (or I may jump on a bus, just have to play it by ear)
