AFF Gathering #6 at OOL on 26 - 28 October

Currently there's nothing planned for lunch, but I had suggested the Food Store in the Hilton as a nice place for lunch, just depends how people are feeling, and there's also a big dinner that night.

After the Q1 SkyPoint Climb I'll likely make my way to the shops to prepare for the BBQ, before spending the rest of the afternoon marinating chicken so you're welcome to come down to Royal Pines and park at my place before dinner.

Not thinking of coming for lunch, but just wanted to time my arrival at Royal Pines.

Also, parking at your place would be great, but there's not a lot of room to park there in the first place (considering there are a quite a few people coming along who will be driving), so unless you're really cool with it.... then I'll also need to know how to get in (as you said, post coming up).

If you're confident to drive the white 4WD I have in the garage, that has 7 passenger seats, probably good enough for both directions

I've driven our Honda CRV at home OK, though my preference is smaller cars. Also, I've only got a class CA licence.

I'm putting together a plan to get from OOL off QF860 to the AFF BBQ at Sam's, I've spoken privately to nick380, AaronBradford and two others about this. Will potentially have a car, so once this is confirmed I'm more than happy to drive others to the lunch, space pending.

Looks like the QF860 mob will have a few hours spare between the arrival, 9:25 and the lunch at Midday. Any other plans?

The guest parking directly in front of my place can handle 6-7 cars, and then there's another two spots like that about 25 metres in either direction, and then a bit more about 50 metres away. I don't think there will be too many cars, and certainly enough spaces to park them.

Besides that, there's also space under the hotel for the dinner.

(I live on a golf course that surrounds a hotel).

It's an auto, but realise it's not for everyone. I think karens might have a go at it if she's able to come down.

From the sounds of things, there's going to be some fanfare for the launch, so you could always watch that, and mention that you're part of the AFF mob and they might be able to accommodate you more so than Joe Public

Seat selection hasn't opened up yet as it's a regional city, you have to wait till T-24 to see where you've been auto allocated and where you can move to

I'm coming Saturday night!!!! I'll be driving from Brisbane and can swing past a hotel to pick up four people who need to get to dinner. I won't be able to drive you back to your accom. Google says 15 minutes from the Hilton to Royal Pines. I'm thinking pick up at 1700 or a litte earlier.

I won't be playing golf but will be around. Can do an airport run on Sunday but don't have much boot space in my new car.

Runs away to chose a dress for Saturday night.
