Ok I got the wrong number of refurbs from a QF staff member. 14 out of 28 is much better.

Sometimes it is possible to get answers to questions that you did not ask!
I think I had better become an EF subscriber so that I move my chances of getting a new fit out to greater than half a chance.

None really. A centre pair is quite anti-social. You might be better off with, say, 1A and 2E since these are across the aisle from each other. Note there is a full row stagger from 1A to 1E as I find out on our trip to WA.

Some days yes. Some days no. There are no guaranteed routes.

Currently returning on EK8418 with the 2-3-2 config but QF24 would be better with the new seats. Travelling solo.

End of the NSW school holidays will fill out those 7 pretty quickly, be it actual J fare purchases or op-ups from Y. Looks like they're willing to sell a J fare even if they have to bump someone off the flight.

YSSY reporting QPF (the 7th 330-300) will be back into service on 11/12.

QPH possible replacement as it has been doing BNE-NRT/SIN loops recently which is more likely to be a 1-month conversion (too young for c-check) but as always ymmv

My delayed flight QF19 from yesterday is now flying as QF7019 and is a refurb - QPD.

A new seat makes everything a little better...even if we are now 24hrs late!

Note that the stagger is far more pronounced on the 332 than it is on the 333.

But, yes, odd K with paired even F is the best such pairing for 332's & odd A with odd E for the 333's.
