yes I would rather do a business class outbound but it appears qantas.com only allows the business selection on the return flight.
am flying to Hawaii late november and I think it may be on EBG, EBL. whats the chances that these planes will have the upgrades completed by november.
I booked my flight tonight but this seating map for seat selection doesn't seem to match seat guru or seat alerts. bassinets are showing in row 4 instead of row 6

Looks like the seatmap for EBG/EBL - the two remaining SkybedI aircraft

@ozbeachbabe - I booked on line with QF but had to ring them back last night to change as I booked J & Y but BC was the return flight not the the outbound flight. Thought they could swap it around but they stated it was impossible. So I had to change the booking to BC both ways $2439 both ways. should have booked last friday when it was cheaper. I couldn't work out where the bassinets were located so I booked in 5A on both flights
I think it may be too late to cancel the return J ticket with same day no-fault rule as I'm pretty sure it has to be done on the same calendar day not within 24 hours but you could give it a go. Just tell reservations you want the AUD2,439.00 J fare outbound and the AUD379.00 economy sale fare inbound.
The BSCTs on EBG & EBL in J are rows 1AB 1JK & 4AB JK attached to the bulkhead. Here's a link to the seat map on the QF website. Note that it's the first option the 36/199 international config.
I did change it last night but it took 2 hours wait on the phone before I spoke to anyone

Try turning the phone sideways to trigger landscape mode.I would love to see the rest but alas, this is all I see in this useless iPhone app...
Wouldn't you know it. Can't post as apparently I'm not logged on. FFS.
Try again...
