FR24 showing VH-EBA outside the hanger, listed as Test (1 month 7 days since it went in on 1/1)

JMFK with only one aircraft on the domestic runs any minor tech issue will mean things get swapped ( eg. QPAs rotation on QF5/6 and then short trip to MNL)

EBA will be flying this week. EBS is next in, and after that EBJ coming back from JQ.

Apparently the international birds are taking a lot longer than the 200s.

Where are you getting this info from?

The good news appears to be they are doing up the old Jetstar or the J class with "D" seats first.

Interesting that EBJ is in for the refurb after EBS as I thought EBE & EBF were coming back to Qantas Domestic with EBJ & EBK going back to the leasing company as Qantas decided not to renew the leases??

I believe it is EBH/EBI going back to the leasing company due to leasing restrictions on them that mean they have different operating weights to the other -200s.

Hi,

Do the A330's for SYD-SIN, BNE-SIN, SYD-NRT gte the new business seats?

Thanks,
K.

Ok thanks. Which routes get them at the moment?

At the moment there is one International 330-300 refurb
It is mostly doing laps of QF35/36 QF81/82
- ie. MEL-SIN, SYD-SIN.
(albeit it did have one day where it got delayed and did QF5/6 (SYD-SIN) then QF19/20 (SYD-MNL)

Would expect a second 330-300 to be completed sometime in March.
It will probably remain on the QF35/36 QF81/82 making those routes almost guaranteed to be a new product.

Ok thanks guys. I guess no Japan routes at present or even hkg

As mentioned above, not with a single aircraft

You would need four aircraft to do SYD/MEL/BNE-SIN routes.
Would expect HKG and the NRT/HND routes to be up next, but this is not going to happen until the second half of the year based on how long a refurb takes.

Also possible that some of the routes that typically get A332s may get the product earlier
eg. QF3 SYD-HNL, and even QF23 SYD-BKK

As long as there is one on the BNE-NRT sector in September I will be happy.

Guys my parents are on QF481 Mel-PER tomorrow in J. Any chance of a Business Suite ?

Cheers

At the moment, it looks like it will be a Business Suite.

However, with QF domestic, swaps can happen anytime up until you get onto the aircraft.

That is good news !
I have let them know and they are very excited, hope QF doesn't let them down, but if they do it won't be the first time lol that I can assure you

How is Qantas letting them down if they sub out the only aircraft currently reconfigured? It's not like the ever guaranteed it would be that configuration. You should have the attitude of "I hope they get lucky".
