Platinum renewal came up. I called, said "I questioned the value, and here are the issues (no concierge, devaluation of SQ, a fraud alert on my card taking 18 hours to call me, challenges redeeming dining credit).
Overseas agent said "we are not allowed to give points on cancellation". I said "I didn't say I wanted to cancel, I told you I've had issues with the card and I question the value and I'm wondering what you would offer in terms of a customer service benefit".
She said "I cannot guarantee anything, I'll come back to you in 3-5 business days".
It's business day 5, no call.
