AmEx Platinum Card: 325,000 Bonus Points (Spend $5000 in 3 Months), $450 Travel Credit, $400 Dining Credit, $1450 Annual Fee

Likewise. I’m about to cancel QF Ultimate card. If I could be confident of the 225,000 sign on bonus then this would be a good replacement with the $1450 annual fee.

Unless you've completed the 18-month exclusion period, you've got next to no chance of getting a signup bonus on the Amex Platinum.

I even attempted to sign up as a "new" customer, but everything was still linked. I received a new Amex Platinum card with the "member since" year of my Qantas Ultimate printed on it. I didn't mind as I wanted the card for its benefits regardless.

its only 150k again but still not bad with all the freebees

Hi folks. I clicked the OP's link and got an offer for 225k points. I later opened the link in another window, and it offered only 150k points. If I use the original link (still open), will I receive the 225k? Thanks in advance!

Just click the original link but open it incognito or with a VPN. 225k should pop up

Discovered by accident recently that this worked still for the Platinum, but also for the Edge. I cleared history and refreshed and went from just 'fee free' for year 1, to 'fee free plus 15,000 points'. Happy days!

Everyone getting 225k deals but I made a deal with my mate to use his referral code so I only get the 150k.

Best to try in “private browsing” or after clearing out your cookies and what not.

For those looking for a 225,000 point referral there are a bunch of links from members (incl. me) in here that give that amount based on my clicking:

Oops, I just saw this and clicked on 150k...

Think I could call in and get them to use a referral to get 75k more points?

Anyone have any idea on how likely we are to get a 325k bonus points offer in January 2024? Was last year a one off or is it an annual high bonus points promotion time?
