I did this offer at the start of the year and cancelled the card in Feb 2016. Has anyone waited the 12 months and re-applied and received a second lot of bonus points or can you only receive the bonus points once?

You will get the points each time you apply as long as there is at least 12 months between last cancelling and your new application.

Thanks Dr. Ralph. Yep, unfortunately I'll need to take the small surcharge hit as I need to get to the target $ for the bonuses. I took out the NAB Velocity 75k and ANZ QFF Black 75k at the same time, so need to find an easy way to hit the target

If you are struggling to spend the money I would recommend purchasing coles and/or woolies gift cards. You have the benefit of spending the money on the card now and can use the vouchers anytime in the next 12/24 months. Remember that these vouchers can be used at most of the associated businesses. So for example a Woolies voucher lets you shop at masters and buy fuel from Woolies branded petrol outlets. It's not hard to burn through gift cards when you spend them at many of the places you probably already spend money at.

And don't for get that these gift cards can often be purchased at a discount.

No problems. Along with forwarding paying utility bills, it's the strategy I usually use when I need to spend money quickly on one of these cards to get the points so I can move onto the next one.

It's even better if you can buy gift cards as part of the current targeted FlyBuys offer discussed here:

I just got approved for this card I used the link for no annual fee and called to double check I was told the offer was old , I talked to another rep and sent him the link He said I would not be charged, I will see what happens when the letter gets here

My hubby applied for this card through the link a couple of weeks ago. It has taken some time to get everything through as they kept asking for other things and didn't like that we blanked out some personal information on our bank statements. Finally was approved today. I hope the no annual fee offer still applies. will see when the letter comes.

ANZ from previous experience tend to post bonuses after around 4 months. But YMMV.

My 75K have posted less than 6 weeks after qualifying spend on 17Sep. Got the cards 1st week in Sep. Noting it took last years ANZ QFF pts over 3 months to post.

Great news. Others, like BankWest could learn something from ANZ. BankWest states that it will wait at least 4 months after you reach the spend limit before crediting bonus points.
