Out of curiosity, how long after hitting the required spend did ANZ contact people to supply their Velocity number for the bonus points?
You can supply it before meeting required spend.

I also had to wait the full 3 months despite meeting the spend requirement during the first statement period. My most recent experience (received card around 10 Oct and met the spend one the same day) was they made me wait basically the full time in the T&C. Received the bonus on 4 December.
Are you able to use points to upgrade the complimentary flights?
Thanks for the tip. I wasn’t going to claim the lounge passes because I already have access as a WP. But after reading your post, I requested them for family members. My brother and mother loved the experience! They had no problems getting in.Received yes, they were mailed to me about two weeks after I made the booking. They look pretty transferrable to me, which is good because as a Plat + holding an Amex I'm not short on lounge access and extra guest allowance. The ANZ issued ones look like they were made by using a cheap printer and laminator. They have a 5 digit serial number and expiry date in 12 months time. This is from the T&Cs:
- Valid for a single visit, entry no more than two hours prior to departure time, subject to space availability
- 18 y.o. + only unless with guardian. All other VA T&Cs apply
you applied this morning and received the 75 k points today? wow!can you pls share the link?I received an SMS from ANZ Travel Rewards this morning stating that I am eligible for 75k VFF points after originally receiving the 75K points during the promo in December. I followed the link with some caution and skepticism, and after ensuring the site was safe and legit proceeded in hope that this was a mistake. Less than a minute later my VFF account is now flush with another 75K VFF points.
Coincidentally, I rang ANZ CCs to enquire about bonus points eligibility for another ANZ CC (different family of cards) and was told that I am eligible for the bonus points. Seems very unlikely, but I wonder if that query inadvertently flicked a switch in my account when they rummaged around my details in their system.
I’ve family transferred out my entire points balance just in case the error is picked up and a points claw back attempted. Having recently redeemed the return flight and sold the Lounge passes, its time to churn this card
No, I applied back in Oct/Nov last year and received the promo bonus of 75K VFF points in December After calling up and advising my VFF number. This was an SMS sent to me with a unique link to the website for another 75K Points as I am “now eligible for the 75K bonus points“.you applied this morning and received the 75 k points today? wow!can you pls share the link?
Same thing happened to me! Thought it was for a family member, as they recently applied for the card but they haven’t met the minimum spend yet... so looks like I got 150k points for my card! No, I applied back in Oct/Nov last year and received the promo bonus of 75K VFF points in December After calling up and advising my VFF number. Anyone had to change their free flight after booking due to the virus?
What was the response?
I booked mine ages ago, before Xmas actually for a trade show in Melbourne. Just been told the show is cancelled due to the virus
Yes err, I thought the unwritten rule around here was not to announce good things like this.I received an SMS from ANZ Travel Rewards this morning stating that I am eligible for 75k VFF points after originally receiving the 75K points during the promo in December. I guess it depends if you consider this something which others should be alerted to because they have dismissed it as spam (having already received the points). I’m all for not letting the cat out of the bag so that its not ruined for others, but this one seemed like others may be unaware and could benefit.Yes err, I thought the unwritten rule around here was not to announce good things like this.
fair enough.I guess it depends if you consider this something which others should be alerted to because they have dismissed it as spam (having already received the points).
