Aquire 10K bonus for using a new partner and double flight points

Bugger, that's unfortunate. I hesitated but glad I tranferred when I did.
I too received a phone call from Aquire yesterday after I questioned why I could not transfer on the weekend.

They said they were in the process of going through all the account and may be retracting points that had been transfered 'in error'.

It'll be interesting to see how they do this if people have already used them and have a zero balance.

Still no points from last Tuesday's flights.

At least our 19,000 bonus points made a nice little xmas gesture split amongst the partners :)

Staples have finally posted the points from my purchase in October, (and back dated) but of course has now missed out on the "auto" bonus 10,000 points that was distributed over the weekend. Just sent them an email asking them to add me to the list of participants that need the bonus points applied.
Once that is done, I can finally file away all the correspondence from this event.

As noted up thread, they may do what Air Canada/Aeroplan did a while ago - just put the account into negative balance. But if that hasn't happened by now they may not go that far.

My woolies account went into negative points balance when I cancelled a Qantas flight. The FF balance stayed the same.

What happens if you have <20,000 pending Aquire points and you don't renew your membership? Will they just be "lost"?

...... And some OS trips planned.

Mrs 2905 (she has an ABN, I don't) wasn't going to go anywhere near the required 20,000 mark for the pending points to become useful....... until I booked a UK/Europe trip in PE for both of us a few days ago.

As for the 10,000 point bonus courtesy of a box of paper from Staples, they appeared yesterday. I've since signed our son up to QFF, and transferred those 10,000 points to him. Time will tell (up to 3 months, IIRC) if they count as "earn", and score another 10,000.

Please keep us updated re any transfer earn.

I did the same thing, signed my son up to QFF, transfered 10,000 points from Aquire to his account. We will have to wait and see if they will pay the new QFF member bonus.

Did the same. Fingers crossed.

Is anyone else getting a 404 error when trying to login to the aquire website?

I can't send them anything via their feedback form either - also getting a 404 error.

Yes... tried multiple times to login (using various browsers) on 27th & 28th with nil success.

Also still down for me.
As I said in the Survey they conducted - I don't take Aquire seriously because Qantas don't. I was referring to the fact that it seems there is no one here who have their points from Regus lounges and Qantas provide no way of getting that feedback. It seems they wish to re-affirm my responses by leaving their website broken for days - how reassuring.
