Aquire 10K bonus for using a new partner and double flight points

I did the same thing, signed my son up to QFF, transfered 10,000 points from Aquire to his account. We will have to wait and see if they will pay the new QFF member bonus.

Did the same. Fingers crossed.

Any joy folks?

I can't recall (or find a link to) the waiting period. I made the transfer to my daughter's account in November so that's close to 8 weeks. Almost time to start chasing QF.

Nothing when I checked a week or so ago, but I recall there being a long wait time in the Ts&Cs

The last sentence of the T&C's.....

Please note that the bonus Qantas Points may take up to three months after the qualifying 10,000 points earn has occurred to be credited to the eligible members' account.

Yes, I think the Qantas FF team still use "Commodore 64" computers in their department , they are that slow. Or perhaps they just upgraded from the "Vic 20"

Still waiting for my Secure Parking base points from 4 November. Website says 6 weeks to credit, Secure Parking say 8 weeks. Tomorrow is deadline for 8 weeks.... I'll see how it goes.

2 chances IMHO. I think the whole program will fizzle with everyone except the bigger boys !

My second lot of Secure Parking points have posted so I have hoovered across the 10,000 bonus points along with the base points to my QFF account.

Unexpectedly, it also looks like I will hit the 20,000 in flights later this year, and before renewal is due, so will be able snag those too.

You've just made my day - my transactions shouldn't be far away then...

My first (quarterly) statement was produced this week, so have confirmed that the monthly deposits of $2K+ are there for 3 months. Now the waiting begins

That sounds more like the Bankwest Transaction account.....

Ah. I'll cool the jets then. Thanks Colin.

Has anyone tried crediting a non-QF issued ticket (non-081) with QF metal and code to Aquire?

Was there a minimum $ figure requirement for the 10k points from Staples? What was the smallest amount someone has spent and still managed to get the 10k bonus points?

How would you do that, given its an ABN field that is used?

By claiming it after the fact, and no it doesn't work.

I thought all you need to do is go to QF MMB, add your ABN and it credits automatically? I haven't done it yet - have some flights later this year that I will credit.
So what is stopping you from going to your QF PNR, putting the ABN in MMB on a OW fare (eg xONEx)?

I paid $22 for 5 reams of A4 paper delivered. 10k points in my account 3 weeks later.

The requirement was you had to earn points with the partner. This would mean a minimum spend of $1 to earn at least 1 point. Whilst some got very close to this I spent $4.99 to qualify.

I bought a notepad for $1 and had the 10k credit. Has been swept across.

I have some progress in getting Regus points. To summarize I took out a preferred membership and used the lounge last October and until recently had little joy with Regus in terms of getting the points. I then took up the issue with Qantas included on the emails. Suddenly some action. I must say I was expecting Qantas to refer me back to the Regus but they seem to have picked it up with the vendor to see what the problem was and what system issues might be underlying it.

So now I am on a promise from both Regus and Qantas. Without elaborating too much on what are reasonabley expected by everyone involved to be private conversations and listening between the words - it seems that some underlying 'system' or 'systemic' issues with points handover between Regus and Aquire are being resolved right now.

Will keep you posted. Hopefully that process will sort out the issue for everyone else waiting.
