Australian Reports of the Virus Spread

The UK has vaccinated, set a date and said basically "this is as good as we're going to get". That is how this ends.
That last part remains to be seen of course. And they did set a date...it was 21 June remember, and then delayed it for 4 weeks. Now I know they are not going to delay again, but for sure it will be interesting to see what happens.

Now SA Health has announced possible hotel transmission for a positive test on day 13. I think they said 20 people had already been released and 10 of those have travelled interstate after release and not all have been contacted. Plus there is concern of another transmission site from the removalists but they don't know where.

Last year I was checked by police on the way home from Costco, to make sure I’d only been out for essentials. They wanted to know what I’d purchased.
Would they have mentioned why they stopped your car. A long way from the vehicle registered address? Your car attracts attention?

..

The UK has vaccinated, set a date and said basically "this is as good as we're going to get". That is how this ends. If you're waiting for a medical end (ie global eradication) then I'm sorry, but this isn't happening. The fact that you say "just want to travel for whatever reason" does prove you don't have much of a grasp of the bigger picture.
I can tell you we have several friends in the UK who are absolutely living in fear for July 19th.

So the person who likely infected another traveller in quarantine just announced today was regarded as an historical case by SA Health at the time and not moved to the specialist facility. Seems he was active.

"To be stuck in a bubble with nothing but men around you, if you're a single bloke ... there's going to be urges at times and it's going to be extremely hard for certain blokes to be alone for up to two months as the competition ends.

I'm trying to say this as respectfully as I can. It's going to be a big ask for certain players - especially the young, single guys - to not breach the bubble if there's no companionship at all on the inside.“
Whatever happened to "looking after your own needs" - you know, what most young men do, most of the time? I mean, come ON! If they can't be celibate for 2 months, what do they do when their wives get pregnant and give birth?

So Victoria will certainly go into another lockdown now. Another week or two do we think?

It just goes to show, as much as we love blaming politicians, luck plays such a big part in all this. The Sandringham Dry Cleaner "cluster" (of 2?) went absolutely nowhere ,but this one, aah who knows where it will all end up.

Three states involved.

There is no doubt at all in my mind that there will be another lockdown here beginning at 23:59 Thursday night.

Might go out for lunch before work tomorrow. Feel a desire to support local hospitality. They've been hit so hard, so often.

50 people not checking in is worrying.

But I think that's the original one, SA Health thinks there's another site (on the way in) but the three guys aren't forthcoming. Looks like Victoria is angrier than Sa right now.

ok. I'm confused now. It's a different service station. It's one owned by some of the wealthiest SA people and who own the Racetrack there. So they visited one servo on way in and one on way out. These are on opposite sides of the road so makes sense.
