Keep going Victoria not far off now, will be in line with NSW soon enough!

Hopefully the third day nationally under 50.

Trust me not having a go I promise :) but we need to stop somehow with this number obsession in the broader population.

Actually 50 nationally once the eastern seaboard is opened up will probably be a reasonable number to expect?

Well this is the thread entitled ‘Australian Reports of the Virus Spread
Lol

ABC reports:

Ten new cases in NSW

Health authorities in NSW have confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus in the 24 hours to 8.00pm yesterday.

Six of those are returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

The other four infections were locally acquired and linked to known cases or clusters.

So excluding overseas arrivals, and assuming SA, ACT, Tas, NT and WA dont have any comunity cases we did get under 50 nationally today.

Drats... NSW 10 today.

Of the ten new cases:
Six are returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine
Four are locally acquired and linked to a known case or cluster

...if only no pesky overseas travellers NSW and Qld....would Have been under 50 nationally today...lol

We don't need to include international arrivals - they aren't in the community and therefore shouldn't be a risk to anyone unless we see more Vic style breaches.

We need to be concerned about cases from known contacts (who weren't already in isolation) and genuine mystery community cases.

They need to stop counting overseas travellers. That was the pledge way back by Australia’s CMO that these would not be counted when trying to revive Australia.

Gladys indicated on Nova yesterday morning that she was expecting SA and NT will open up to NSW and ACT shortly, which will put pressure on Qld, Tas and WA to be more sensible.

Rumour has it if NSW can go 2 weeks with 5 or less cases a day SA will let us back in without quarantine.

Rumour has it that if NSW can go 13 years with an average of 0.25 cases a day, Dr Young and Anna will grant access for you to visit QLD (with 14 day quarantine and not at the AFL COVID party house sorry).

Anna is doing unnecessary economic damage to win an election (hopefully Queenslanders are smart enough not to re-elect her) - should SA open up first, they will get my tourist $ instead of Queensland. SA in winter is unappealing but it is more appealing in late spring through early autumn, whereas FNQ is a no no over summer due to cyclones and stingers.
