Australian state border restrictions

We have totally lost our sense of humanity.
I'm an Australian now living in the US. Y'all are in for a miserable couple of years with stupid lockdowns when a couple of dozen cases present themselves.

Any decision to deny someone to travel to a funeral, should be accompanied with the name of the public servant who made that decision.

To be frank, I'm surprised this all hasn't resulted in violence (I don't condone violence but I'm surprised people haven't lost it over all this)

Think that many are becoming more frustrated now than before judging by the social media posts on SA Health websites, as an example.

The SA definition appears to accept the transit however the Tas one says going to the airport is below medium risk but the definition is a little loose.

All the direct flights appear to be sold out unfortunately.
I’m going to HBA next week from NSW and have re-routed my trip to avoid MEL completely for this reason.

Haven't they closed the door to Sydney yet....?
SA Pol is about to make an announcement re Sydney. Not looking good for a returning business traveller tomorrow night.....

Had a trip planned to QLD 25th - 27th June, guess that won’t be happening now since hotspot of GM is declared for another 7 days and need to wait 3 business days for pass approval :(

Haven't they closed the door to Sydney yet....?

Princess Fiona lives north of Sydney, so can fly from NTL (or other) would only be impacted if has been in Sydney since 11th, unless TAS block all of NSW.

Tasmania is only blocking people who have been to any where on NSW Healths list.
They would only close down to all of Sydney if Gladys locked down all of Sydney. Can't see that happening.

if Gladys locked down all of Sydney

Wont happen, and certainly not for 3 linked cases and one weak likely false positive.

Most that will happen is a restriction on dancing at nightclubs and masks back on PT.

From what i can see in the press release, it only applies to people who have been to one of the named locations, not all of NSW?
Yes, but it will only take 1 more case to tip it into Greater Sydney.
