How many times was WA border slammed shut while there were passengers in the air en route? Topped off by the back flip on feb opening.

What are WAs rules for international arrival quarrantine?

Is it quarrantine until negative RAT (which is essentially no iso as you can test at the airport) for fully vaccinated and 7 days HQ for unvaccinated like NSW? These things heaviliy influence demand.

They'll go wherever they think they can best utilise their assets, and extract the best profits. They'll switch back from DRW to PER but I Imagine they will stick with their recent announcements

I think work-related travel will recommence pretty quickly.

Yup, the mines will fill Qantas jets almost immediately as they hold almost all of the contracts for FIFO.

We found out this AM from WA health because they want our tender back on the table the day the borders open! And they also want us to reopen our Perth office lol…. I think we will just go baby step kids.

Vaccinated in line with Federal Requirements no quarantine but RAT test within 12 hours and must report positive result. Unvaccinated Australians - 7 days hotel quarantine but a 70 person per week limit on those persons. Unvaccinated non-citizens as per Commonwealth rules - no entry.

They could recycle probably 20-30% of the RAT tests by pulling the unopened boxes from the bins inside and outside the airport doors. Just wipe them with pine-o-cleen wipes and put back a day later for next planeloads of people.

Saw this in Tassie as well when they were handing them out. I almost bin dived to put them on eBay at that point! And they were the real good Panbio ones…
