Not shopping for essentials? That's going to cause some serious problems.
oh this will be tough for you @jb747.The NSW/Victorian COVID border bubble has been strengthened
Well of course they are! As essential as pharmacies! How can one be expected to get through lockdowns without "essential essences"If you call Dam Murphy’s they have a recorded message saying they are.
mind you I am well stocked in case they close for 6 monthsWell of course they are! As essential as pharmacies! How can one be expected to get through lockdowns without "essential essences"
I'm in Brisbane and went to Dan's after 4pm on Saturday, quite a few people were getting some essential items! We keep telling you that Dan Murphy’s is not essential shopping!
You can always do a run to Rutherglen or the King Valley for essentials as wellYes, just made an emergency run to Dan Murphy, which is, of course, over the border. And Albury is, of course, such a hot bed of covid.
From the covid hot spot of ACT, red zoned almost everywhere despite a 13 month run of no community transmission, I feel you pain.Yes, just made an emergency run to Dan Murphy, which is, of course, over the border. And Albury is, of course, such a hot bed of covid.
I think I would put that at better than 50%.In Vic - I have a work trip scheduled for 12-13 Aug to SA - been postponed 3 times before. What are the chances the border will reopen by then? (I'm thinking not great again..)
Same. No community transmission for a few days now.I think I would put that at better than 50%.
Interestingly, there is some work being done on using Sars-Covid-2 infected cattle and milk and dung as a vaccination against Covid-19. I don't know the progress though. Such a concept worked for Edward Jenner for CowPox and SmallPox originally. At least now you've all avoided the deadly Ekka variant of cow-COVID.
So presumably SA Residents flying home from overseas via SYD would have to do 28 days quarantine. That’s rough.SA just scrapped quarantine-free transit through Sydney airport, effective immediately

Our last outbreak in SA a couple of weeks ago was caused by someone who was allowed to skip quarantine in SA after Sydney quarantine. He caught it somewhere in NSW - quarantine - hospital - taxi - somewhere. So presumably SA Residents flying home from overseas via SYD would have to do 28 days quarantine. That’s rough.

And WA......and a new case in Vic..There goes any plans again.
