2 x J YVR - NRT - BKK - MEL. AC & TG. 95k miles + US$1450. Sent screen shots last Sunday, got email on Monday that the request was going to the manual booking dept. Received email this morning (Thursday) that flights were booked and skyped them tonight to pay - 15 mins total.

HND-AKL-SYD (NZ J). 40,000 + USD74.14.

This timing really worked for me: HND 01:00 > AKL 14: 40 - 16:05 > SYD 17:40

Thanks to Trixy.

2xJ class 40k miles each for SIN-TPE-BNE on EVA air . Never flown them so looking forward to it

On this route you are getting the better product on the shorter sector. B777 Royal Laurel is one of, if not the best J product out there. Their A330 J however leaves a lot to be desired... Did you book T-14 or later?

Oh really ? Wished it was other way round with the longer leg the 777. After you posted I checked and it's sloping sleepers as well in the a330! It's for February next year .

Hopefully by next year they will upgrade the service to BNE as SQ recently did on their overnight flight.

Booked 2 J tickets on Thai MEL - BKK - MXP for May 2018 for 185000 miles + USD$125 taxes.
J tickets from Europe to MEL next year are pricing at 85K so there is a differential depending on whether travelling Aus to Europe or vice versa.

2 F awards on ANA SFO-NRT.180000 points + $US61.20.
Points bought in last promo meaning slightly less than $A1450 per ticket.I'm happy with that.

drron. do you then get a separate ticket back to OZ through LM ? or did you only need to get to NRT

Only needed it to NRT.
Checked the ANA site.Buying the points + taxes set us back $US2150.2 paid PE flights with ANA SFO-NRT came to $US2750.

May 2018 redemption for two pax:

SYD-BKK TG476 B747 F
BKK-ICN TG658 B747 F
ICN-LAX OZ204 A380 F (stopover in ICN 14hr)
LAX-SFO UA420 B737 Y (stopover in LAX 23hr)

Total 222,000 miles plus $242 taxes and service fee.

Few notes:

- Booking was made using screenshots. Itinerary emailed within 24hr and they called for payment the next day (around 10pm).

- There was shorter connection available ex-ICN (OZ202) but we wanted the longer stopover.

- The UA flight was last minute addition (wasn't included in the screenshots and no extra miles required). Not sure if we'll take it or stay longer in LA and drive up HWY1. Good to have options...

- One thing we can say for sure, the 8 hour stopover rule is officially dead and buried (probably for a while now). LM definitely allow up to 24hr connections.

2 X J on TG MEL-BKK-NRT early April next year. Cost was 100000 points + $US 172 booked online. Points were bought during last months double points promotion.

I have booked return leg with SQ with KF F/R saver fare.

PS. Whats this screen shot method most people are talking about?

Screenshot method

SYD-BKK-HND TG F 50,000 LMs + USD91.35

The two points worth noting other than the number of points are that they allowed a 20:40 transit and that my source of all things Avianca has it on good authority that the screenshot method is on its last legs.

AC BNE-YVR-YUL in J. 35k + $675. 787 all the way.

Was able to see the routing online but errors out as I continue. I was forced to use screenshot. If screenshot is coming to an end, they better fix the bug first. I couldn't even book what's available online! (FWIW, even a simple BNE-YVR errors out!)
