I've applied for a BW World Card so as to get 1 point per $.
My past two statements were issued on the 2nd of the month. They generated this month's statement overnight and it had the 50,000 points after reaching min. spend ~24th May (within the T&Cs)
Now hopefully they'll sweep across to my QFF account quickly.
I upgraded to this about 4-6 weeks ago ...
... Don't remember the details off hand.
Ok, thanks anyway.
Ok, just looked it up, under normal circumstances the fee is $220 pa.
Without another sign on bonus, that pa price wouldn't interest me. But is can be of use to some people as everything is 1:1.
Just noticed that after 4 months since opening, no points (including the 50,000) have ever been transferred to my Qantas account. Email sent to BankWest immediately. Will be another reason I add to the list when I do cancel this card and seek a refund of the annual fee.
What's the annual fee on the BW World Card?
It depends on what you offer them /negotiate to a certain extent. I was able to say that I'd been told less than they now wanted to charge me, so we compromised and agreed that I would have the same price as the base card, then a slight rise till 2017, and then full rise, but I reckon I'll be gone by then. Don't remember the details off hand.

When I applied through the web-portal before the link died, it said on the screen that annual fees, etc, wouldn't change, though I don't know if i saved a screenshot
However I am fairly sure that I also asked them over the phone during the upgrade and they confirmed again that there was no changes to fees / credit limit / my introductory balance transfer / etc.
To me, the combination of no forex fee / 1 point per $ / 55 interest free days could make this a useful travel card but I agree, maybe not $220 worth of usefulness.
So what, you do have the World card, but they charged you $220pa?
