Wish I could say the same about BW, still no points despite constant promises for 3 months

The complaint link that I provided above got me a quick resolutions.

Bankwest have been nothing but hopeless.

Response to my query "...the points will be swept to Qantas on the next available sweep
date which would have been the 05/09/2015. Once the points have been
transferred, Qantas then have a period of up to 21 days for the points
to be released to your account."

Points are now showing in Qantas. Now to request an upgrade to World card.

... I just hung up on a call, and he is going to arrange a Transaction Account so that I can pay Bpay and get points. Plus, for very $100 balance in that account at the end of the calender month, I will earn 12 points per $1. ...

get me outta here,

in case you don't already know, the account you're talking about is the Bankwest Transaction account. It's AFF thread is titled Bankwest Transaction account 10K QFF promo [expired Oct 31, 2014] and is the latest page is here.

It has lots of information about maximising points from transactions. Remember you earn 5 points per transaction.

Thanks for that link ETA. I stared reading from the top up to about the post of 'buy one grape at a time', where upon I .

I did ask a couple of q's in that forum though.

We found the problem with Bankwest not contributing the points they grabbed my number not Clazgirls

Four weeks after Bankwest corrected the number we have finally been credited some points, 9 in total.

Bankwest have said we need to speak to QF about the other ~60,000, QF say we need to go back to the bank ..... any tips on where we go?

Draft a letter to the FOS stating the problem and the resolution you want. Send it to Bankwest here:

https://secureforms.bankwest.com.au/...omer-relations

Tell Bankwest they have 14 days to fix the problem or the letter will be sent to the FOS.

Before anyone jumps onto this, worthwhile reading the entire thread for the problems people have encountered. In short, it can be very difficult to get them to award the points.

If you're looking for some quick points, have a look here:

40,000 points for $69 is a lot better offer than from BankWest.

I have been reading, thanks for the info to all. Just thought I'd put it up for anyone who may be interested, there are definitely better deals out there, but I've exhausted a few already (anz, Jetstar, Amex velocity) so was looking at the next one, was thinking the HSBC or this one, or might just wait for something better

Im in a similar position. I also expect that at some time in the future I'm going to get a rejection for one of my application. I know during the process of refinancing by home loan recently the lender was stunned to see the number of application I'd made in the last year.

Decided to go for this one, applied tonight and got approved, it was the best ppd offering out there for me, will see how many dramas (if any) I get on this one in a few weeks/months

Good luck. Strongly recommend you keep a record of everything and be prepared to fight.
