Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

I had a similar thing happen to me about a week ago. Had 300 transactions disappear for a couple of days. They showed up in the transaction list eventually so no issues. What you will probably see is the balance in the transaction list will be more than what your account summary is saying if that makes sense.

All of the missing transactions are back today. What a weird online banking system. Glad this is not my main account.

Thanks for the help NoName & Coles.

Has anyone tried using this card to do multiple payments with Origin Energy?
They use a payment system called BPoint.

Thanks

Existing transaction cardholders excluded. Would have been a good 10,000 points.

I just about give up with this post since already have Bankwest Hero Transaction A/C.

But then thinking will give it a try.

Success! Accepted my application on-line, didn't even need to fill in application detail, took my recorded info and got my new A/c number, etc. in couple minutes.

So if you have credit card, telenet, another online account..... You can still apply for this promotion?
Then if successful, there is a script on this thread that make multiple transactions to get the 10k points faster?
Put $2k in for 3 months, at the same time withdraw $2k the day after seeing it in account?

Yes. This was my situation. Haven't used the macro but the 10K points sure are handy

Everything working out.

Applied for Qantas a/c last night.

This morning logged into my a/c online.

Accounts listed on the screen:-

Telenet Saver

Smart Esaver

Qantas Transaction Account

Hero

Regular Saver

Most of them showing zero balance at the moment.

Only hazzle is to make sure I move sufficient funds around so that there will be Minimum of $2000 credits into the accounts each month.

You may not qualify for the 10,000 points as it is for new transaction account holders and you already have a Hero transaction account.

Maybe others who already have a transaction account can let you know if they are getting the points.

"If further payments are made in this manner they we be treated as malicious activity and further action will be taken by Council."

Write back politely asking for the legal basis for their allegations and reserving your rights to take legal action against the Council.

This is the most pathetic attempt at bullying behaviour I have ever seen from a local authority BTW.

Has anyone had statements come up with 0 points, when you should have received some (due to purchases and balance in your account)?
I rang up and had them changed to monthly, not quarterly. That was ending 8 Sep. Then I get an email saying the next statement is out and it is from 9-18 Sep?!
I opened my account on the 12th a few months ago.

Thing is, in this second statement period I made several transactions and it is 10 pages (I don't know if that is of any significance).
I'll ring up and find out, but am wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

I wouldnt ring up. You might alert them to something. Getting statements all the time is normal. I average one statement every 5 days or so. I've even had statements for 1 day. Just register for e-statements so they come online and you don't physically receive one in the mail.

Oh, thanks. I suspected the number of transactions/pages may have had something to do with it but wasn't sure. I guess it's so they don't send you a 90 page statement at the end of the month.
Do the points still credit at the end of your monthly account cycle?

The points credit at the end of the month, usually show on QFF on the 5th :)

How many of you are going to cancel these accounts
I for one think its not worth the trouble.

I'm not going to cancel in a hurry!

I've just changed our bills/statements to online versions, so I don't need to work out where to store all those pages of nothing ;)

I was going to but while I'm earning 5-7k points a month for just paying my Optus bill (around $180), I'll be keeping it open.
