Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

I was going to but while I'm earning 5-7k points a month for just paying my Optus bill (around $180), I'll be keeping it open.
Have you managed to automate the Optus one, I had this going but they changed the site?

Perhaps don't be so hasty. They might just send you, like they did me, a 30K credit card offer :p.
You can always close a bit later ;).

I received the 30k offer too but I guess it will go through credit check with Veda. I just got my ANZ black like 3 weeks ago and have a couple of other cards

Even better if you have a wife with the same card ..... 15k points per month for $60 spend ............ yep we'll be keeping it open.

Anyone successfully using imacros for virgin mobile payments? the forms are dynamically labelled so the form name changes each payment... I'm having trouble with the code :(

I'm not going to cancel in a hurry!

I've just changed our bills/statements to online versions, so I don't need to work out where to store all those pages of nothing ;)

I get BW statements every 3 days now, freckin' annoying. I get online ones but the constant alerts are a PITA.

My Telstra bill was ridiculous, lol.

My partner and I both have Bankwest QFF accounts - has anyone been transferring the $2k per month back and forth between Bankwest accounts each month and being able to avoid $6 monthly fee?

Yep. Direct credit from mortgage account, direct credit back 2 days later. Set and forget.

Thanks all.
Agree, getting a little bored also and need to do auto set up too.

Has anyone tried downgrading from the platinum card back to the standard card in an attempt to get a 3rd card happening to enable 150 transactions per day? Thinking of trying this in a few weeks time once I've had the platinum for 2 months total.

Not sure whether applies to customers on non-transaction accounts only or not. E.g. has a term deposit or credit card a/c, etc?
