Certainly did
Ok very strange then. I'll see how it goes tomorrow with Optus.
I only just got the account up and running, is it 50 transactions per month or 50 per merchant?
50 per day
Struggling to work out what the hassle is if you are using an automated macro here!I closed my account today, not worth the hassle and few points

Hhhhhmmmm my macro is getting declined on all of my transactions today.
Anyone else seeing this? Happening with 2 cards./QUOTE]
Back to working as normal today.
Yep, times this by 4 accounts to pay two $60 optus phone bills.
So approx 31,000 points per month for $120 spend.
All done by macro
I couldn't get my Telstra account to work automated, so I'm just paying my electricity and seems to work ok only one day in so time will tell
For Telstra you need go to here (do not log in to your account) and then, either manually or preferably with iMacro, make the first payment. When the first payment's receipt is displayed, either manually or again, preferably with iMacro, refresh that page, up to 49 times.
If you're already doing the above, then ask for help for your specific issue.
That's right...To avoid the monthly fee on the account you will need to deposit at least $2000 per month (e.g. your salary).Just want to be sure. You're saying even if you don't deposit $4K a month when you (only) have a Platinum card, you won't be charged the monthly account fee - interesting.
Both the Qantas credit union and bankwest accounts are terrible for earning interest. I strongly recommend more research if you are looking to earn interest. However, the bankwest account is hands down a better account for earning points. There are 2 reasons for this: 1) it pays a higher number of points on balances and 2) it provides the opportunity to earn points through everyday transactions like buying a loaf of bread at the supermarket.2% interest is still earn to me! Its not all about the points!
