Just a quick update on my earned then expired SC's :)

a few weeks ago I had to call QF to destroy yet another booking and get a TravelPass issued (I've lost count of how many I have now...).. anyway since I was on the phone with them I mentioned the SC issue and asked if the agent could assist. She couldn't directly but did liase with QFF while I was on the phone and promised a resolution within a few days. I have 11 months so not too fussed about it. Anyway after just over two weeks I did note via the app (which I used due to yet another cancel lol) that the SC's were back and QFF did call me as a courtesy a few hours later to confirm they'd "resolved" the issue. It just shows as a manual adjustment so who knows if anything further happened to prevent this in the future (not really my problem I guess) but they did make good on it.

I think they applied to LTSC though given it's a manual thing all bets are off :)
twist update to this..

This morning I noticed.. wait for it.. 15 more SC in my account deposited for Promo 1 SEP 21.

So now I have 30 extra SC. Now I imagine QF may figure this out and take the bonus bonus 15 away but it did give me a laugh to see that show up again.

Or maybe they knew I am going for my 3rd jab tody and Joycey is taking pity on me? :D

Can I ask, for those who opted for the status credits, how long did it take for these to appear against your account?

Interested to know as well since I'll be submitting it soon on 1 November at the start of my new membership year...

Yes, applied for the 15 status credits this week and it took about 2 days to be added to my account. Pretty quick, and it counts towards lifetime.

based on my experience above do not do it so soon on the first. Perhaps wait till the afternoon (I went a bit early and may have gotten snagged by the good old GMT issue). Just a thought :)

Thanks for the tip! I'll hold off on pulling the trigger...

Is there anyone with anniversary date 1 OCT or 1 NOV who took the SC option before their anniversary date?

If so, can you confirm if the SCs count towards rollover?

I waited til my new anniversary year ie 1 Nov onwards before I took the 15 SCs...not sure it would help me maintain Plat but anyway...

Did the same, took a couple of days, but can now see 15 fresh SC's sitting in my account. Waited until my Gold rolled over on Nov 1st, then made the application from the phone app.

I waited till after the new month in GMT. I expect to retain SG without needing the 15 SC. Not sure if I’ll get back up to WP.

I have a question for the people choosing the Qantas $20 code / voucher thing.

Can it be used to discount someone else’s booking (in a different name?)

Being trying to claim via ph app (tried both android and apple). Accepts the pdf certificate then says something like "sorry we are experiencing issues please come back later". (I even deliberately attached a wrong one as test, bunnings map! and it recognised it as not being the vax) Anyone with similar response? Anyone successful claimed in the last few days? Any workaround?

I was just trying to help a customer do theirs via the APP and it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ll try again later and post results!

Yep been trying to help my Dad do his for about a week now and same thing. I e-mailed frequent_flyer, but no response yet.

Thought I better get off my backside and do this before it expires.

Not eligible though - not vaccinated in Australia, address not in Australia. Understand why this is the case, but as always with Qantas, as a "foreign" member - always feel like a second class citizen.

I am eligible but no matter what I do the app rejects my certificate. Of course there is no one to call to determine why and I am not going to ask the "call centre" people who will tell me to contact QFF.
