I've opted out of reading the past few pages.

Q: is there a thread on AFF where all the vaccinated offers being offered in Australia are being posted? It would make a handy spot for people to review/sign up.

Virgin has a "va-x and win" competition on as well.

This site lists a number of other companies offering vaccine rewards, including Telstra, Medibank, Finder, Luxury Escapes, DiDi and AIA. It says that the page will be kept updated as new offers emerge, with the last updated on 23 August.

I'm not aware of a consolidated thread or article on AFF, although something like the consolidated border restrictions article might be a good idea.

Edit: Further to the above, the Federal Government has published guidelines to businesses outlining how vaccine rewards can be offered. (Eg, they can only be offered to people who are fully vaccinated.) The pamphlet lists a couple of other businesses who are offering vaccine rewards: Lido Cinemas and Classic Cinemas, both in Melbourne.

You may be right, but I recall when they did the recent BP promotion for 50 status credits, they had similar language in their T&Cs, but made an exception for Fast Track - doesn't probably make sense that they'd make this exception again, but hope they do.
Having spoken with QFF representatives today, both the Vaccine Certificate and BP offers both count towards the Fast Track promotion that is currently on foot.

That's great - thanks - lol though - I emailed QF to find-out if they'd consider extending the FT promotion and they said not at this stage and I should endeavour to get necessary SC's by end of Sept - that made me chuckle, since Sydney has been in lock-down for ages and it will be at least another month until I can get on a plane...

I went points but now thinking SC may have been better.
I also opted for points (posted to account 31 Aug) but recently sent an email to QFF pointing out SCs counting to Lifetime status in the T&Cs changed between first (24 Aug) and second (03 Sep) promo emails. Points reversed yesterday with 15 SCs posted & lifetime/YTD tally adjusted 😁

Just a quick update on my earned then expired SC's :)

a few weeks ago I had to call QF to destroy yet another booking and get a TravelPass issued (I've lost count of how many I have now...).. anyway since I was on the phone with them I mentioned the SC issue and asked if the agent could assist. She couldn't directly but did liase with QFF while I was on the phone and promised a resolution within a few days. I have 11 months so not too fussed about it. Anyway after just over two weeks I did note via the app (which I used due to yet another cancel lol) that the SC's were back and QFF did call me as a courtesy a few hours later to confirm they'd "resolved" the issue. It just shows as a manual adjustment so who knows if anything further happened to prevent this in the future (not really my problem I guess) but they did make good on it.

I think they applied to LTSC though given it's a manual thing all bets are off :)

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before. I was double vaxxed mid Aug but as I decided on the status credits decided to wait till after September as thats when mine would expire - so not much point.
Says you have to do this on the Qantas app, but I cannot find where/how to do this?
Have clicked on everything I could see on the app - but cant see a mention of it anywhere?
Have the certificate on my phone in mygov/medicare and google pay but even if I found where to download in the qantas app - Im also not sure how to download from my apps to my phone?
Hope that makes sense.

Have you got the latest version of the Qantas App?

ok thanks. I just went to google play and said I could update so now I see notice where is asks if have been vaccinated. Now I just have to figure out if/how I can download it.
After much frustration and going round in circles I "think"I have finally done it. Will have to wait to see if I get my scs. Thank you

Sounds like a lot of effort for the potential return. Anyway, I hope that you get your reward.

Some have had issues with it but for me it took under a minute and no issues so it's not a hassle for everyone. To be fair.

I have successfully done this on my iPhone but my husband's Android phone is one hassle after another. It seems no way to save it as a file. They want to use Google Pay which again wants all kinds of security stuff. My husband is a very basic phone user, not a smartphone type of person. How can I get the pdf version of the cert in Medicare?

I was able to save the new international one linked to his passport with the QR code to his phone and it shows as medcare_doc.pdf. But the other one is not in the files.
QF app won't accept the intl one for the points promo.

OK I finally found a solution. I saved it from MyGov to the laptop. Then I emailed it to his Gmail. I opened the email on his phone and saved it as a pdf. This time QF accepted it and he will get his points.
