I had issues saving the certificate to my phone (Android) and after so many attempts, ended up going onto my laptop, downloading it and emailing it, then saving the attachment.

I can imagine a lot of people not bothering beyond try number two (better major prize odds for me I guess! )

nope. Morning of September 1st, ie in new membership year. The SC's for now previous year had already been expired.

Maybe the midnight GMT issue that is also seen with DSC promos?

A friend applied today for the SCs. Will see if they expire immediately or not.

I have two months before rollover, at which time I'll take the SC's for the new "year".

Not so concerned re adding 15 to my 35K+ lifetime SC tally.

The SC do now count towards LT SC
I checked my balance and they have now been added.
The T&Cs seem to have been amended too.

Don't worry, you will have another option when the third booster shot will be the expectation for what is deemed to be fully vaccinated - as is already occurring in other countries.

I missed the current extension offer by a month this time, so added this and got my 15SC. Confirm as others have said it counts towards LTG (I just got LTS), but not loyalty bonuses. Now hoping my BP 50SCs post and I think they'll be the same, count for LTG but not the loyalty bonus.

My wife was in the same position for 2 months, but finally got her record updated yesterday, just after she wrote a complaint to her local MP!

I ended up doing the same the day the article was published in the SMH. Resolved now thankfully!

By the time we are onto boosters we may have boosters targeted at the delta variant. Lots of variables at play. Hard to predict the future.

The 15SC counting to LTSC is good. Unless I can make a few overseas trips (or one DSC one) I'd probably need another status extension and if the SC weren't LTSC they'd be useless.
