Anyone know if the status credits roll over? My status and some status credits will be rolling over with one of the recent offers. Just wondering what the best thing is to do? Points or SC?

Thanks

Unfortunately I'm caught up in the 'thousands' of people for whom the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) hasn't received the data about my vaccination:

That means I can't submit anything to Qantas even if I wanted to!
As to the "data issues" and "incorrect Medicare number" mentioned in the article, I doubt it. My first jab showed up almost immediately. The second jab was on the same booking reference number (so same set of data I'd entered) but unfortunately something has gone wrong and the data never made it to the AIR.

I took up the 1000 points offer for wife and myself. Too easy as we were vaccinated in March and June.

I'm not sure they do as they don't contribute to the lifetime tally. You could wait until after your rollover if you're chasing SC. When is your SC anniversary? The offer goes until Dec 31.

If you don't see the difference between a document, and making a declaration... then obviously you don't agree with Qantas.

Otherwise they would just accept a similar personal declaration about being vaccinated instead of demanding you upload the .pdf (and "not a screenshot").
Now you're just back pedalling.
The means of giving out personal health information, does not change the fact that you are giving out personal health information. There is no such difference between a document and a declaration when it comes to disclosing information.
Unless... Are you saying you lie when asked if you fit to sit in an exit row? Ahh right, so saying you're fit for an exit row is backed up by the fact the crew can make a visual assessment. Last I checked no one is able to tell if someone is vaccinated by looking at them.

I'm always fascinated with the contradictory justifications that can be created by conspiracies.

Your argument stemmed from you trying to create a strawman around my statement that "No, it's asking for your personal health details. And you can get vaccinated quite readily without sharing those details with them." Which was a comment about vaccinating and this promotion we are talking about, tied into my original point about this being a low offer for what they are requesting, which you then broadened to some general statement about the sharing of health details generally. So the actual issue is you are the one creating embellishments.

However, you trying to create a new narrative around Qantas' own rules suggests this is more about your ego's need to win than actually deal with facts around this promotion. Why don't you write to Qantas questioning why they don't accept a declaration since you see them as the same. Feel free to throw in your thoughts that contradictory statements like that are created by conspiracies. Let us know how you go.

I spent a good hour on my iphone trying to work out how to save my certificate to my drive.

I then went on my ipad, got my certificate and submitted it to Qantas in 10 minutes !

Why? It’s really not difficult?

My wife was in the same position for 2 months, but finally got her record updated yesterday, just after she wrote a complaint to her local MP!

Mine SC anniversary is October 2022, I know it's a long way away but any SC helps at the moment.

I will take the SC in my new membership year after I am fully vaccinated.

Just an update.
The SC do now count towards LT SC
I checked my balance and they have now been added.
The T&Cs seem to have been amended too.

Well done QF 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hmmmm. I got the 15 SC's which went into my overall total on 25 Aug, but they weren't counted towards LTG. I might have to chase them up.

Edit: Yet appears SC don't count towards Lifetime for those that have already claimed

Decisions, decisions. Points towards PC for another year or SCs to get closer to LTP? 🤣

But good news for peeps close to LTG.

I‘m going to hold off electing for at least a month to see how things pan out.
