It's looking like the poll is conspiring against me as I can't make the April date . If it changes to a date I could make, I would be solo.

It's looking like the end of April is a clear favourite. Poll still has not closed but the trend is defo with that.

The other important aspect of this is: Of the 30 odd potential attendees, How many are intending on bringing a +1??

Mods: I propose that once the poll has closed, If you have NOT voted, No further spots will be available unless I am PM'd and approve.

Also, as a reminder, and as per my 1st post on this thread mentioning the details.... If we have too many members wishing to attend, final attendees will be determined at my discretion, however I will involve mods in this. I hope it will not come to this as I think the more the merrier. As a general rule, if you are known to me, or another AFF member who knows me, you would get priority.

To whet the appetite, those of you on my FB and Twitter will have seen my lovely lunch yesterday with Heston Blumenthal. I would rate Simon in my top 10 chefs worldwide.

Sigh, have been holding off in voting but will most likely be in Turkey in April
If in the unlikely event that March is chosen, will be keen to be considered for the bossreggie jet to AKL but will come back commercial.

May I suggest that as there seems to be significant support for the lunch ( and the April date) that the dates and times ( and those lucky enough to be invited) be locked in.
if invited I need to ensure I have planned flights , hotel etc.
It would be nice to get an idea of menu, style and theme.

PLus I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet fellow AFF persons.

I am growing ever more envious as the April date tops the poll. Ah well, I'll just have to slurp another wine while drifting past the Kimberley coast hearing the fresh-caught barra sizzling on the BBQ and raise a toast to you lot tucking into a few scraps across the ditch .

Heading back to MEL this evening.

I will try to go through the thread and finalise numbers this week.

I will also speak with the restaurant to see if I can get a "sample menu".

Bear in mind that I am allergic to nuts so they shall not feature on the menu OR on the aircraft!!
