We have a weekend.

I'm going to go over to AKL probably during the week to speak with the chefs.

With regard to the 40 odd people who voted for the end of April. We now need to CONFIRM the actual numbers.

Also, a preference on days for the lunch.

If you are staying at either Hilton or Pullman, please PM me with your booking name as I will be trying to arrange some drinks etc.

Hilton guests, if you plan on dining at the restaurant please allow me to assist with booking as Simon has now taken over the restaurant both at AKL and Taupo.

I mentioned earlier that I can organise winery tours etc. I'd appreciate expressions of interest in those.

If we have enough pax flying in around the same time, I can also arrange transfers to and from the airport.

For those of you who LOVE a great steak, I will be having a meal at Jervois Steak House on Saturday night. This place is not formal, but I have enjoyed some of the best steak in my life from there.

This will be a great weekend and I thank all those who are attending.

Point upgrades are domestic and short haul international.

Preference would be Saturday for lunch to allow recovery time for travel home Sunday. Perhaps the nice steak dinner Friday and the big lunch Saturday? I'm assuming we won't need a big dinner on the day of the lunch ...

So we can assume the April 28/29 w/end is locked in.
I thought lunch was definitely Sat -- with a view that it was likely to be a long lunch so low chance of getting back on the 530/600/630 (nz/ek/qf)

Thanks bossreggie. We are making a bit of a LAN SC run of it. In on LA800 on 27/04 @ 14:40 and out on LA801 on 30/04 @ OMG :shock: 05:30 so either Sat. or Sun. for lunch would do us. We will most probably stay at the Crowne Plaza because neither of us have any status at Hilton. Don't know if our livers could withstand a winery tour at this stage.
